The “tie a belt around your neck and see how long you last” trend. Many people and kids have attempted this trend and died, and TikTok did nothing about it. Thankfully the trend got discontinued, but TikTok should be more aware of what horrible trends people start.

Any food wasting, food challenges or eating contests are an insult to nature.

Ticktock itself.
I swear it's making everyone brain dead! Non-stop scrolling and scrolling until eventually it's 7 hours later and you haven't done anything that you wanted to do and your brain is filled with useless information about the latest dancer or whatever goes on on that platform now.
Three years (give or take) away from it and I feel so much better. 💪 I refuse to go back into that platform!!!!!!

I can’t stand the video format where a popular/weird/viral video is dueted with exaggerated reactions/useless lines of writing/literally just staring at the camera doing NOTHING. Most of those people are trying to capitalise off the popularity of the initial video. It’s the laziest, tedious, annoying, blandest, most boring, yawn inducing & fkn infuriating s**t & half of tiktok/fyp is just these vids.

I know someone said it already, but I have to reiterate the fake disorder trend. Especially the cherrypicking — they only fake disorders that can be glamorised & presented in a cute, qUiRkY, endearing way. With that, too, they pick the cutesy or edgy symptoms. Fakers can easily be placed in two categories: 1) Cute and quirky: they infantilise themselves, dress babyish/“cute” & record themselves doing “cutesy” symptoms/triggers. Common faked disorders of choice are autism/asperger’s, DID, PTSD-driven age regression, OCD. ADHD & tourette’s. 2) Edgelords: Patrick Bateman & Sherlock idolising creeps who desperately want people to think they’re intimidating, charismatic psychopaths. Disorders of choice are sociopath-ism, psychopath-ism, OCD, BP/BPD, DID (with weird alters based off characters that the faker wants perceived as dangerous & emotionless). You’ll never see fakers mention/showcase the horrid, soul-sucking, ugly side of disorders. The inability to maintain personal hygiene and depression pits of moulding plates and tear stained old pillows. ADHD destroying every shred of motivation, even for things you enjoy, so painfully it leaves you suicidal & ruins your education & employment. Peeling, bleeding raw skin from dousing yourself in bleach to quieten the screams of OCD. Ending up in A&E with burns, cuts, broken bones & scalds because you don’t choose when the tourette’s tick will strike. Walking into traffic because the depersonalisation was so strong you truly believed in your every fibre that you don’t exist. These fakers really ought to count their lucky stars they don’t know what mental illness feels like & quietly shut down their accounts before mother universe decides to deliver their karma & they suddenly find themselves with a disease they cannot shed like a character. Or their little game returns 10 years down the line to bite them in the a*s as they apply for the job of their dreams.

I know I’ve already wrote two posts for this, but U have so much pent up anger at that shitstain of an app. The hijacked body positivity trend, now filled with morbidly obese white women with the insane gall to victimise themselves, refer to obesity as a minority group, & correlate their “struggles” to that of disabled people, black people/BIPOC, and the LGBT. They’ve truly convinced themselves that they’re being oppressed by the world & should band together with the disabled & BIPOC. Apparently weight is now as decided from birth, etched into your genes, permanent & inescapable as skin colour, sexual orientation & disability. According to this trend, the medical field & healthcare are prejudiced and wrong. There is nothing wrong with being so obese that your visceral fat is practically choking your organs, your arteries are more clogged than the London sewage system, you can’t climb to the 2nd floor of your house without blacking out, being so big you physically can’t reach over the bulges & rolls to clean your body, and your resting BPM is 120 as your heart fights to keep you alive. tHe OnLy hEaLtH tHaT mAtTeRs Is A hEaLtHy mInD. Doctors/physicians should also stop trying to make morbidly obese people lose some weight, cut calories, not eat junk, or exercise because yOu ShOuLd OnLy Do WhAt MaKeS yOu HaPpY. All discussion & advice on healthier life choices, portion control, calorie cutting, and better food is to cease in all formats & in every space. It’s a terror attack on fat people aka FaTpHoBiA. In fact, anyone making tiktoks to document their own journey to health & a better, more enjoyable life will certainly be dueted by dozens of these people harassing & vilifying them, denigrating their actions as anything positive or “healthy”, deemed led astray by the falsities of established medical information, & labelled fatphobic. You’re not allowed to make videos depicting good food & exercise as positive or options to control weight — that’s also fatphobic. If you don’t find one of these bodyposi people attractive, it’s obviously because you’re fatphobic and find fatness ugly. It can’t possibly be one of the other million factors that make up a person. Or that your lifestyle is simply incompatible with someone that eats 6 meals of garbage a day, cannot participate in any activity involving even the smallest form of physical movement, & is perpetually surrounded by the odour of the cheese growing between their folds. Other examples of fatphobia, in their books, include açai bowls, airplane doors, seatbelts, corset dresses, vegetables as a whole, doctors’ office posters, quinoa, and the study of biology itself. You’d think being so big that an extendable seatbelt cannot cover you would be a sign that something is wrong. But it’s actually car & airplane companies that are the problem — they need to accommodate 600lb people. Maybe planes should reduce to 20 seats per vehicle so they can make them big enough. Logistics be damned. The only thing that matters is nothing that reminds this particular group of the detriments of their own actions should be in existence. Funnily enough, you’ll never see these so called body positivity accounts discuss the treatment of other body types in this way — if not more — condemned, laughed at, and rejected. In their world, skinny women being the butt of jokes for decades, romantically rejected, compared to curvy women, force fed/have jokes made at the expense of their body & eating simply doesn’t exist. The same goes for muscular women compared to men, monkeys etc., laughed at, rejected & insulted. Likewise, it’s funny when you think about the fact that THEY made the obesity inescapable. By demonising & refusing to accept/partake in health education, nutritional guidance, healthy food, better choices, exercise, portion control, calorie reduction etc. they eradicate all the factors that would stop the obesity. It’s lazy, cyclical ignorance that allows them to write it off as “permanent” so they can remove any responsibility over their own situation while putting the blame for the inherent unhappiness & dissatisfaction they evidently feel on the rest of the world. It’s a misinformed, unfounded joke of a movement stolen from the actual minority groups & twisted into an excuse for people to continue doing nothing about their early deaths while condemning every person who makes their own individual choice not to follow their stupidity, and every person that doesn’t want to shag them personally. It would be laughable if they weren’t guiding other obese people who may have otherwise changed their habits & become healthier to their deaths.
