I'm a documentary filmmaker and am always on the lookout for new and exciting stories to tell. So share what you think is a subject, or person, that should be discussed in a new film.

There's 'The Natural History of the Chicken' which doesn't really cover the history, it's more of a 'various people talking about various aspects of chicken' kind of thing. There is also Channel 4's Dispatches 'The Truth About Your Chicken', looking at the welfare, farming methods and impact. Then there is 'Chicken Planet' (I can't remember who made that one) which is a nice all rounder that I think you'd enjoy.

I want better cryptid/mythology shows. It's always the same monsters over and over again. I tried watching the series on the monsters in the Witcher but they don't really give you the information. They say "Oh, this is where it's from and now we'll go to the next one."

Give me the details! Especially on the ones not already all over the media.

This would be so cool! Like a different thing each episode, like mothman and chupacabras and the little two legged guys in canada and all that. there's probably a show like that but I haven;t seen one

Anything that tells the whole unbiased story. I've seen a lot of stuff on the Nuclear arms race, aftermath of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. I remember seeing some stuff on the testing and development of those weapons. Today I heard that parts of Bikini Atoll had to be evacuated twice. I guess because nothing was mentioned, I always assumed the areas where testing took place was uninhabited.

I would like to see a documentary about the Flat Earth theory but with a twist... And the twist is the film maker isnt just mocking the flat earthers but actually trying to understand what they believe and why.

That exists, it's called behind the curve. It was really interesting albeit certifiable lol.

There are many people who were lost to history and have only just recently started to be recognized.

As an example my great, great great grandfather was the first black postman in Canada which was wrote the feat for the time. Though qualified the Prime Minister had to intervene to demand he be allowed to do his job even they wouldn't let him do the job he was hired for. He was an escaped slave who managed to flourish in Canada and overcame alot-- but only recently did he start to get some recognition.

There are many lost stories like that.

I love this! And what a story. Thank you :) I recently found out about Bessie Stringfield, the "Motorcycle Queen of Miami." If you aren't familiar with her, check her out. What a woman.

I want documentaries about how gifted adults (adults that scores high in iq-tests) can function in a normal everyday life. Actually, I also want just regular litterature on this and I want better options for gifted adults to meet and exchange experiences.

Because I really really need that!!!!

The furry community or cosplaying in general. Now before you go in the comments and say being a furry is bad, as a furry I would like to clarify it is a hobby, not a lifestyle. We are not zoophiles, and we do not identify as animals. But back to the main subject itvwould be really cool to watch a documentary on fursuiting and fursona history, as they've been around for a long time and just seeing the community grow and improve over the years.

It's called 'The Fandom', it shows it's earliest roots up to modern day. It's only a couple of years old and better than 'Fursonas' from the mid-late 2010's.
