What is a valid reason as to why people want to have biological kids?

Like why would people want to bring another human being into a crappy world knowing you’ll have to work your ass off to provide for and raise (or hire a nanny to do it for you). Why would anyone want to voluntarily put themselves in a situation of sleepless nights and constant worry? Genuinely asking as no one I have asked before has been able to give me an valid answer. (I’ve meet so many parents that wished they’ve never had kids, but they do love their kids to death and wouldn’t have it any other way, but if they could choose again, they would not have them. Or others that say “it’s totally worth it!” And are completely broke, tired and stressed. But why is it worth it? Others straight up tell me “don’t have kids.” They’re a lot of work.)

Thanks!!!

Why do the left, and right argue? We're both getting f****d, I believe the system is inherently wrong if we are all are out here believing there are only 2 sides. I think it is a means to keep us arguing with eachother, so we don't stand up do something about it.
Now mind you I understand when people argue just to argue the point their side is trying to make, or this undying loyalty to a civil servant. That is worth taking notice of. Though in the end I believe most of us can find more than a few reasons to dislike our own side of the aisle. We all just have the shitty decision of which side is the lesser of 2 evils so our "freedom to choose" is not wasted. I just wanna know when the general population is going to come to this understanding so we can put the blame where it belongs.

For me: make the best of the situation, do good where and when you can, enjoy the little and simple things around you (nature, sun, kitty cats, music, beautiful buildings, etc.).

There is no point. We are just atoms arranged in a very complex way. We dont have a destiny or fate. Its up to you to decide what is important in your life :)

The longer I live and the more I think about it, the point is to develop ourselves into our true potential (individually and as a group) through experiences. .....and part of that is earning to love more, better, deeper.

From a biological standpoint, to procreate (not the act but to pass on one's genes). That is true amongst all species. If you're meaning spiritually, that is completely up to each person.

Well to be fair biologically it is to pass on your genes. Not necessarily by your own reproduction but also through your family.

There isn't a point or a meaning, even though we would like to think there is. We all have one common objective: to be happy. To do this, work out what things you can do that will bring you true happiness, on a deep level. for me, i love to be creative and i write music, books and I paint. I'm happy with what I do, even if hardly anyone else takes notice. It helps me to feel good about myself.

I think life is a test created by whatever cosmic forces control the universe. -side note I have to believe there is SOMETHING that controls the ebb and flow of all the energy that surrounds us (including our own). I believe that our many lives are a test to be taken over and over again until we get it right, and are finally worthy/learned enough to move on to whatever the next phase is. I believe the only way to pass is to live your life to the fullest, learn, explore, create. I believe if you stick by the basic laws of ANY religion (Do no harm. Love others, don't lie, or fight) you will make it out of this life better than you came into it. Retaining that knowledge in the next phase is the major issue here. That's just me though and to you I may just be spouting random bullshit.

There isn't one. Why would there be? It wasn't built, there is no builder, so there is no purpose. Simple. A tree does not grow bark to serve the bear with good footholds, because trees were not made by a magical invisible bear in the sky. Can you imagine bears attacking each other because they are convinced this magical insible sky bear punishes naughty bears by settings them on fire for all eternity after they die, and does this out of LOVE, of all things? Or bears being hateful towards one another because some bears evolved to the point they could reason that trees CANNOT have grown bark to serve bears, because bark predates bears altogether? The whole thing just sounds like a four year old came up with it, and I cannot with a straight face address people that earnestly believe this.

Why do some American demographic groups add identity to their nationality? I always see Black Americans as Americans, as well as every other group. Why shouldn't I simply call them Americans? People have the right to die. Yeh, therapy and a bunch of serious conversations first but it's their body, their life and their right. I'm not saying it should be easy or a quick decision but if your life isn't going to get better or is only going to get worse that should be a choice you can take. I don't know the exact answer for those with children, but I also wonder if a kid being brought up with a suicidal parent is good for them anyway. Case by case I guess. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
