What do you think about people faking disorders like Tourette’s, DID, autism, or ADHD?

I’ll go first. I have been diagnosed by professionals with ADHD and autism. I also have depression. Seeing people pretending to have these disorders that I struggle with makes me want to scream, because it’s not quirky. It’s not cool. It’s actual disorders that people struggle with every day. My autism has caused such large problems with my school that they are trying to kick me out. My ADHD has caused me to ruin my fingers. (And my pencils). Due to my depression since the beginning of the school year I have been on suicide watch, tried to commit suicide, cut myself, and generally felt like s**t. If they haven’t already these people will start faking stuff like dysgraphia, dyslexia, and anger management issues. My brother has dysgraphia, and my friend has dyslexia. It makes it hard for them in school. My mom has anger management issues. She’s in therapy for it and it’s getting better, but for years it sucked because she couldn’t stop screaming at me and my siblings. So, a******s, are you sure you still want disorders?

They flipping suck. I don't think I've got asd but yeah. The other ones. I've got the space cadet adhds. I got diagnosed later in life. I'm not currently in my meds. I have to write everything down. My brain goes left. I'm tapering down my Effexor it's the worst thing to be on ( for me) I dunno what to say. Just non tactile hugs and pencils can always be replaced but you cannot. I wiggle my feet. A lot. Please know you aren't the only only around. We exist. It sucks. But we are brilliant and beautiful ( that's what I try to tell myself when I remember)

something i want to say to these people is, "are you f*****g insane??" they think it's qUirKy and cUte and so they fake things and it makes me want to scream. it's a struggle for people who actually have these disorders and honestly if they want my disorders, they can absolutely have them.
