In general: If possible, start early at a young age. I'm trying to learn a new language at age 45. And it takes a lot more time and effort than 30 years ago when I was a teenager.

Marketing is low-key manipulation. Some do it safely and ethically (i.e. majority of companies whose ads you see) but some do it in a way that's harmful (*cough* direct-to-consumer pharmaceuticals).
Yes, it's to get someone to buy your product. It's a necessary side of business. But have you ever wondered why your fast food burger doesn't look as full and delicious as one on the TV? How about seeing a medication for diabetes, but wait, it's actually not for everyone with diabetes (that's why you talk to a doctor and let them tell you what you need). Or those cute puppy commercials that ask for donations? Trust me, I'd adopt every single puppy if I could, but they use footage that would make even the coldest of hearts melt a bit.
It's crazy fascinating seeing the science behind what's in front of our faces every single day.

So I was sitting there in music class one day trying to remember the notes that are flattened in the different keys.

Idk if this makes sense to anyone, but in the first three flat keys (F major, B flat major, and E flat major), the notes that the flats go on are always a form of 'B'. Like in F major, the flat is on B, in B flat major, the flats are on B-E, and in E flat major, the flats are on B-E-A. It's like b, be, bea.

Idk, it might help someone if you're struggling (like me) with music theory :D
