Hey Pandas, What Are Your Resolutions For The Upcoming Year?
I personally don’t make resolutions because I don’t remember what I said or else I won’t keep them. What about y’all?

appreciate the people who love me and all I have, which is a life of luxury compared to so many
Pandas will be extint in few years becs of humans, humans are cutting trees in large amount day by day
No resolutions. No promises to myself or others. Just maintain. That's enough.
Make more time for my nan, she has dementia and I was never around for her before. Now I try to be at every event. just trying to get those good memories before she's gone
That’s a beautiful resolution. Hope she’s able to stick around for a while. :/
Let go of the past and focus on building stronger relationships.
You can do it! I'm wishing you a beautiful future full of amazing people :)
Do cardio 5 times a week and go for a run once a week
Last year it was so cardio 3 times a week and run once a week
Smile more. Laugh when I feel frustrated. Talk to myself with the same respect I talk to my friends.
I hope you achieve your resolution. You're as deserving of respect as as every other human.
to do what is *best* for me. I'm still trying to figure out how to manage my newfound anxiety disorder and i find that I'll often spend too much time angry with myself over doing or not doing something. sometimes skipping stuff just because something might go wrong isn't the best move and it might actually help to go to things and be with people. not all the time, though, which is why mine isn't 'go be social more'. just trying to find the perfect balance of what works for me
also, 10 minutes of movement a day. any kind of physical activity.
I wish you the best! May this new year bring you peace, happiness, and lots of activity!
No killing the clients.
Curiosity killed the client, but this new years resolution brought them back. Do I dare inquire where you work?
Shop locally wherever possible (no supermarkets)
Only buy things in plastic when absolutely necessary
Buy second hand when possible
If I do shop at the supermarket, buy something for the food bank
Always carry change for homeless people
Eat mostly vegetarian (1 non-veg meal per week)
Take good care of my body (vitamins/supplements, work out every day I can, eat well (fewer takeaways, more home cooked meals), get enough sleep, daily skin care, lots of water, less alcohol)
I have spent the last three years adjusting my life to do these things. However, I will not buy second-hand because of bedbugs (they are freaking EVERYWHERE). It took me two years of treatments to finally get rid of the buggers. And I do not give money to homeless people. I will buy them a meal or get them vouchers to food places, but I have seen too much to feel comfortable giving them money.
I make the same resolution every year - to do or learn something new. For 2022 it was learning te reo Maori (the Maori language).
Pacing myself, setting priorities, and putting my health first. Pretty much the opposite of any resolution I've ever made.
Get my health issues under control so that i have energy to be a better mother and wife and lose weight
To be less annoying and be less stupid.
Hey, don't degrade yourself like that! Of course we all have faults, and you can always improve yourself, but it's still important to be kind to yourself and to appreciate everything about you. Anyone that's telling you you're annoying and stupid isn't someone who cares about you enough to know that you're more than your vices.
I know it sounds like its stolen from The Princess Bride but following my grandfather's lead, I resolve not to start any wars in Asia. My family has an almost 100 year stint of never breaking it.
Survive. That and actually keep on top of learning new languages
fellow language lover here! which languages are you working on?
Love myself more. Stop and take a step back every once in a while and see how I am actually doing
My most important retaliation is to keep breathing and my other one is to continue crocheting because it's fun but I always start different things (cross stitch, needle point, bracelets(string), bracelets (beads), personal book marks) and stop after a certain amount of time.
I call that "long term ADD." Getting super into something for a protracted period of time, then losing interest forever afterwards.
I'm going to give up camel riding.
Get my grade up in math (I currently have an F)
Find some real friends
Successfully keep my room clean for more than a week
Find a hobby
Start reading more often
Running 26 miles total each week. I've done cross country since I was seven and I low-key hated it, but I've recently started to really enjoy running. Hopefully I can make it a fun routine in 2023! Running a marathon all at once is a little too much for me right now, but I'd love to do one over multiple days each week!
Get rid of all of my exes and stop contact with them, for real. Also, get more physically healthy and fit.
Mine is to not make a resolution.
So if you resolve to not make a resolution...have you made a resolution or is there a footnote-exception?
Finishing the book I try to write since 2 years now, an probably start to write another one after that
Hey, one of mine is similar! I’ve been working on this one book for about three years, and I decided to put it to the side and work on one that I’m more interested in
I'm gonna love myself more. It's been really hard for me (and everyone) through covid, so I just wanna get a fresh, new start.
I have a few, so have listed in order of importance.
1. Stay alive for this next year, and to not get any new scars.
2. Find some new, better friends that make me feel better about myself, and will actually be there for me. Also improve the few nice friendships I have.
3. I have some very important (maths) exams in October that will play a part in determining my future and university education. My resolution for this is to find ways of studying that work better for my stupid brain so I can do very well like I want to.
4. Get better at the customer service part of my job (working in a cafe), which means need to find someway to squish the anxiety that stops me from communicating effectively.
5. Talk to my parents more about stuff. I live with them (not over 18 just yet) but our relationships work with me just not telling them stuff. I want to change this (still not quite sure how) and be able to tell them things and not be scared about their reactions.
There are more, but those are the ones I can think of right now. Not very light-hearted, but important.
I wanna start again going to the Gym one day a week and going swimming one other day a week.
If Im lucky Im gonna loose a bit of weight (Im fat) but if not thats fine, too.
I also wanna start a dream diary - not for all of my dreams, but for the ones that feel like little movies in my head and where I wanna know what would have happened next. A lot of dreams are having this really interesting atmosphere which is kinda hard to catch.
I wanna try Bullet journaling again, I think I could really like this, it just gets so much off my time.
Oh and I wanna try to refresh my knowledge from uni once again.
Try keep my job or find something better; try to understand the issues with my partner better rather than blaming her alone; try see my kids more.
Thinking about going back to school for ui/ ux design and of course finishing Blackwater rpg board game
Lose weight, because I’m kind of fat and I hate my body. It might give me an eating disorder but I don’t want to be fat.
I resolve to level up my damage control skills, and to continue to thanklessly assist those who are woefully lacking in said category.
Try to do better in school. Maybe pass with a B in math instead of C. I have a lot of expectations..and I'm afraid to fail because of my dad. He yells alot. :(
I don't do resolutions, I do "re solutions." Find better ways to do what you want this next year. No guilt and only positives!!!
To keep practicing electric guitar for 45 mins everyday and idk, maybe actually have friends?
Get my house organized the way we want it once and for all...and hire a cleaning lady to keep it that way. It'll help our mental health so much (getting it organized is the hardest part it's crazy).
I have three.
One is to finally finish writing at least one book, one is to clean my room (deep clean, like reorganize everything) and one is to get all As and Bs in school
create an army of sea monkeys while feeding them monster energy and mountain dew code red and use them to take over France.
well make more friends for starters i only have 2 and stop screaming into a pillow after a long day
- Study already paid extensive course related to my work
- Get citizenship in the country I live in for over 6 years which also requires studying
- Gradually return borrowed money
- Go for trips
- Keep the room tidy & declutter
- Loose weight & gain muscles
- Cook more often
- Take care of my mental health
To not talk as much. Partially because I do talk way too much and partially because I'm trans and my voice only passes if I'm concentrating, so here goes
Try to get bariatric surgery for the third time. No one is notifying me about the classes I'm supposed to take and I have to call them to find out. This is getting stressful!😓
I'm going to develop my personality, view the world with more self-confidence, and believe in my values as a person. Buying more colorful clothes, gray and black are no longer my colors. Continuing the workout, building up some more muscle and showing off the six pack
Work on my swimming, basketball and badminton and also finish the book I'm writting. The sports since I was lazy af during lockdown, so last yr I got back into sports, but this yr I want to take it to the next level, esp swimming. Writting cos I had this book idea and I began writting it on Whattpad around November and I'm 11 hapters through. Sooo yea, hopefully I do that
Sorry you got a downvote, if I weren't late I would upvote. What is your story about?
