I personally don’t make resolutions because I don’t remember what I said or else I won’t keep them. What about y’all?

to do what is *best* for me. I'm still trying to figure out how to manage my newfound anxiety disorder and i find that I'll often spend too much time angry with myself over doing or not doing something. sometimes skipping stuff just because something might go wrong isn't the best move and it might actually help to go to things and be with people. not all the time, though, which is why mine isn't 'go be social more'. just trying to find the perfect balance of what works for me

also, 10 minutes of movement a day. any kind of physical activity.

Shop locally wherever possible (no supermarkets)

Only buy things in plastic when absolutely necessary

Buy second hand when possible

If I do shop at the supermarket, buy something for the food bank

Always carry change for homeless people

Eat mostly vegetarian (1 non-veg meal per week)

Take good care of my body (vitamins/supplements, work out every day I can, eat well (fewer takeaways, more home cooked meals), get enough sleep, daily skin care, lots of water, less alcohol)

I have spent the last three years adjusting my life to do these things. However, I will not buy second-hand because of bedbugs (they are freaking EVERYWHERE). It took me two years of treatments to finally get rid of the buggers. And I do not give money to homeless people. I will buy them a meal or get them vouchers to food places, but I have seen too much to feel comfortable giving them money.

Hey, don't degrade yourself like that! Of course we all have faults, and you can always improve yourself, but it's still important to be kind to yourself and to appreciate everything about you. Anyone that's telling you you're annoying and stupid isn't someone who cares about you enough to know that you're more than your vices.

Running 26 miles total each week. I've done cross country since I was seven and I low-key hated it, but I've recently started to really enjoy running. Hopefully I can make it a fun routine in 2023! Running a marathon all at once is a little too much for me right now, but I'd love to do one over multiple days each week!

I have a few, so have listed in order of importance.

1. Stay alive for this next year, and to not get any new scars.

2. Find some new, better friends that make me feel better about myself, and will actually be there for me. Also improve the few nice friendships I have.

3. I have some very important (maths) exams in October that will play a part in determining my future and university education. My resolution for this is to find ways of studying that work better for my stupid brain so I can do very well like I want to.

4. Get better at the customer service part of my job (working in a cafe), which means need to find someway to squish the anxiety that stops me from communicating effectively.

5. Talk to my parents more about stuff. I live with them (not over 18 just yet) but our relationships work with me just not telling them stuff. I want to change this (still not quite sure how) and be able to tell them things and not be scared about their reactions.

There are more, but those are the ones I can think of right now. Not very light-hearted, but important.

I wanna start again going to the Gym one day a week and going swimming one other day a week.
If Im lucky Im gonna loose a bit of weight (Im fat) but if not thats fine, too.

I also wanna start a dream diary - not for all of my dreams, but for the ones that feel like little movies in my head and where I wanna know what would have happened next. A lot of dreams are having this really interesting atmosphere which is kinda hard to catch.

I wanna try Bullet journaling again, I think I could really like this, it just gets so much off my time.

Oh and I wanna try to refresh my knowledge from uni once again.
