Everyone loves animals (I think), but what are your personal favorites? List as many as you want!

I would think that was kind of obvious for me.
2nd are dogs & cats.
3rd are anything considered conventionally "ugly"
4th Everything else.
Show me an animal and I want to hug it (it was nearly problematic when I met a Lachesis AKA bushmaster, and downright chaos when I saw the Komodo Dragons).
I love cats. But I also think owls are really cool. And whale sharks. And sea otters. And bats. And frogs. And moths. And bunnies.
My favorites are bizarrely specific (but I took Zoology class, so...)
American false vampire bat (fun fact, they're big enough to kill and eat a parrot)
Pesquet's parrot
Hammerhead bat
Honduran white bat (they look like little cotton balls)
Sea otter
Domestic hedgehog
Turkey vulture (they're so ugly, they're cute)
North American possum (I found an old dying possum in my garage once. It was so sad! Also much bigger than I expected)
American crow
Rosy maple moth (very cute and fuzzy!)
Blue morpho butterfly (I love all butterflies, but this one is especially pretty)
Tiger. Komodo Dragon. Mongolian Death Worm. Cassowary.
Have you been to Komodo or Rinca Island to meet the dragons? If not, I strongly recommend. They are amazing!
Chipmunks, squirrels, flying squirrels, flying foxes, mouse angels (most bats), chinchillas, picas, vizcayas, fancy mice, voles, songbirds, stoats, button quail, flemish giant rabbits, degus, marmosets, etc.
Cats because they have the traits of everything I dislike in humans but they're adorable doing it.
Dogs just because of the way they adore their humans.
Fox, wolf, squirrel and deer for no specific reason. I'm also fond of cardinals and crows.
