What cover versions do you think do justice or improve on the original?

Ok...
# 1: " hurt" by Johnny Cash... Fkn beautiful, get tears in my eyes every time I hear it..
#2: " Mexican radio" by Celtic Frost.... awesome, wall of voodoo never sounded so good!!!
#3: "feel the silence" by Lacuna coil.... Totally does justice to the awesome original!!!
Just realized my mistake... " enjoy the silence" by lacuna coil!!
I hope a remix by a different band counts too, otherwise I wouldn't be able to introduce my Birgit-M-Going-Crazy-On-The-Dancefloor-Song:
Never Wanted To Dance - Combichrist (Electro Hurtz Mix), the original version by Mindless Self Indulgence is cool too!
Voyage Voyage - Black Nail Cabaret, but I freely admit that I also love the original version by Desireless!
Where You Are - VNV Nation, a remix of the original song by Deine Lakaien, which again is great!
Type O Negative's version of "Black Sabbath" (by Black Sabbath)
Jimi Hendrix' version of "All along the Watchtower" (by Bob Dylan)
Metallica's version of "Turn the Page" (by Bob Seger)
Okay, but I only have one, and it sound REALLY SILLY when you read this but like I’m dead serious. The Gillian’s Island tv show theme song. Re-done by Tommee Profitt.
Ki: theory’s version of Stand by Me and Disturbed’s version of The Sounds of Silence
I actually hate covers but I do have a few:
Darius Rucker- Nothing Else Matters
Disturbed- Sound of Silence
Danny Olson- Fix You
Lol, someone else who hates cover versions. So do I, usually. Most of them are just silly and superfluous imo.
