I am going to send her a text. I hope the new owner of that number will forgive me for disturbing them.
Mother’s Day in my country is 8th of March, so I sent her elegant traditional tea pot to make her tea Japanese way. She was delighted, said it was very beautiful.
A nice, lazy day, without having to do anything she normally does. A movie she likes, a meal she likes, but not her own work. Maybe a little, thoughtful present, must be figured out before.
I would do these if I had a mother. I was given birth by an entity more evil than devil itself.
Usually I just get flowers, but since my dad confessed that her ashes aren't her grave because he sprinkled them in the family orchard, this year I'm going to buy her a couple heirloom apple trees,
I don’t actually know who my mother is. I haven’t celebrated Mother’s Day for a very long time and that was when I left home at 18.
A prayer. I lost my mom 4 1/2 years ago. Value them while they are still here and, if possible, make peace when you can. When they are gone that's it.
Nothing, I always forget so this time im gonna do on purpose
(also i kind of hate her anyway)
Either something for her dogs, a bottle of wine, or a gift card for her favourite wool/yarn store.
A relaxing, chore-free day together. Maybe something small, but definitely a nice card and a memorable day :)
I bought her last year DickObraz (in czech its meam porcupine or d♥ck picture it's double meaning) it's antistress colouring book for adults full of d♥cks xD Mum laughted a lot. I bought it on web suporting LGBT... I totally recommend, pictures are funny a not much vulgar♥
I was blessed to share 60 some Mother's days w/ my mom. Now she is gone and cry with others who have lost their moms or who's mom's were not kind people.
Celebrate your time w/ your moms, in any way you can. It doesn't need to cost a thing or it could be the trip of a lifetime.
Make memories together and celebrate life!
Big-kid asked me why there is a mother's day when we don't have a children's day. I told her that in Korea (I think it is) they actually do have a children's day where the kids choose what activities to do and all that. Big-kid somehow forgot all interest when I told her that such day do exist but not in our country. Lol.
In Japan there is Girls day(or Dolls Day) ,3rd of March, when little girls are celebrated. There is also children’s day( or Boys Day) 5th of May, when there are many events for children, and decorations celebrating boys are put on display. There is also the “ 7-5-3” ( Shichi-go-san) holiday, when kids aged 7, 5 and 3 years old visit temples dressed in gorgeous kimonos, and have small celebrations at home.
