My first name is a perfect conversation starter. I'm Dutch but my name isn't and as far as I know there are about 12 people with my first name. So explaining it's origin (quite a nice story) is always a great beginning.

What have you accomplished and what are you trying to accomplish? I feel like these questions really get people talking and are a great way to create other conversations off of. At the same time, you really gain insight on whoever's answering and could potentially be inspired yourself.
