It just wasn't necessary. It didn't help the plot in anyway. It didn't help character development in any way. It was just senseless.

One death that I really hated were the deaths of Mapleshade's kits in the Warriors series. The circumstances were all against her, and no one supported her. After her kits were buried, she was kicked out of the territory they had been buried in, and her own mate revealed that he was cheating on her. No wonder she was so murderous, she just wanted revenge on the people who had wronged her.
The death that I cried the most over was Newt in the Maze Runner series. I closed the book and just stared at the wall for a good ten minutes, silently crying and trying to comprehend what I had read. I now hate the number 250 (only fans will understand).

In Naruto, Itachi Uchiha, and kakashi when he died, then came back to life. I cried

Hans Hubermann in The Book Thief. I stayed up late reading it and sobbing, to the point where I couldn't take any more of it and had to put it aside to finish the next day. That book utterly destroyed me.

One death that will have me sobbing my eyes out is Muichiro Tokitos, Mitsuri Kanrojis, Obanai Iguros, (Demon Slayer)
Starting with Muichiro- He was only 14, and according to some people, he died on his birthday. And who killed him? HIS GREAT GREAT GREAT x100 GRANDPA! Like imagine losing your whole family at 11 years old, only to be killed by your relative just 3 years later. Also, before he died, he lost his hand AND got stabbed. Even if he survived, he would still die young due to the Slayer Mark.
Now with Mitsuri and Obanai- She finds herself in Obanai's arms and asks if they won. Keep in mind, this is after they won, but she doesn't have arms. After Obanai says yes, she says that she'll probably die soon (she felt nothing) And then a flashback- THE WORST PART. She remembers when she got lost in Ubuyashiki's (late founder of the Demon Slayer Corps) mansion, and he helped her. Mitsuri and Obanai went through so much together, and then they just die. The saddest part was their last words
Mitsuri- "Iguro-san, Iguro-san? If we're ever reborn as human beings... Can I be your bride?"
Obanai- "Yes... of course..." "And this time I will protect you..."
