This may be disturbing so you could stop reading. But if your curious to know I'll tell you. Some of you probebly know this, but my science teacher once said that we fart a lot of times while we're asleep. I dont know the specific number of times, but when I heard this I yelled, "is that why I wake up every morning sweating like I'm in hell?" Then she just started explaining to me why we fart a number of times but I forgot. I just nodded and went on with my buisness trying to forget I ever said that

makes sense, it's a natural way to get unwanted gas out of the colon/body- since you're unconscious when you're asleep and cannot hold it in, your body takes advantage of that lol

There is a certain form of benign tumour, formed from the ovum, that grows into anything and everything. It's called a teratoma, and they literally grow whole teeth and hairs (the rest of the material is usually unidentifiable, except under a microscope). Unfortunately, the sperm equivalent does nothing of the sort and mostly just acts malignant and nasty.

You can look teratomas up on Google, since there are pictures, but I wouldn't advise it if you're squeamish. There's a reason their name means 'Monstrous Growth'. Also, they're not potted specimens from what I can see, so they're... slimier than the sort you see in a university collection.

Chicago’s nickname was coined by 19th-century journalists who were referring to the fact that its residents were “windbags” and “full of hot air.”

Before reaching the voice box, the controlling nerves loop beneath and around the aorta. This is a leftover from when we were fish and the voice box was our gills. A nerve run straight from the brain to the gills would slip through the loop easily, since it didn't have to travel back up.

A bit weird, but okay. But this is true of all things descended from fish.

Consider, if you will... the giraffe.

I think this is one of the facts that gets muddled up on the internet a lot? There are yellow rays, but they stimulate both red and green cone cells in the back of your eye. So your brain doesn't actually "see" yellow, it sees red and green, but yellow light does exist. If yellow light was made of red and green, splitting it with a prism would yield green and red.

Of all the pokemon in existence, the one that the Pokemon company pays the least attention to is the Paras line. It only has 2 merch items, a couple of significant events, and the least appearances in the games. For example, Pikachu and Eevee have their own games and get added to (new forms/evolutions) every now and then, but the Paras line doesn't.

Mercedes-Benz is named for Mercédès Jellinek. She was the beautiful 16 year-old daughter of wealthy Venture Financier Emile Jellinek. Emile Jellinek offered to fund Karl Benz's automobile factory under the condition that the car is named her. This leads to a huge irony - the Nazi's parade-car of choice was named as an indulgence for a Jewish Princess.
