Kids can sometimes be mean to one another. In school if you look different, wear one wrong article of clothing or even bring the wrong lunch you can be made fun of, you may even get a nick name because of it. Tell us a nick name you got when younger, how you got it and if it has stuck with you.

I've had this nick "hyperunknown" since 1994. I only picked half of it myself. It started out with me wanting to change my nickname (a.k.a 'handle' as it was on the old BBS-scene, demoscene and all that). I took the name "superunknown" from Soundgarden's album, but I only got to have it for one day until two of my friends decided it should be hyperunknown because I've always been hyperactive 9000™. Ended up with me being called "hyper" for short by everyone, even in school and later on at work. Now I even have it as a middle name on my formal national ID card :D
My mother has a lot of pet names for my brother and I...
Shitpickle. Poopsock. Sweet Little Potato Chips. Lots more, even weirder...
After my brother died my mum started referring to me as 'My boy' as she had 3 daughters and now I was the only boy.
My youngest sister grew up thinking my name was 'Boy', before long the whole family tree were calling me it.
Ironically I pick up the same name independently at school. I was answering back to the PE teacher and he said 'Are you listening BOY!' And I mimicked him putting on my best Clifton James voice, 'I sure am boy'! When my best friend found out that my family called me the same, it stuck forever.
As it was the late 80's I insisted on it being spelt differently and 'Boi' was created.
The Donkey bit got added later for... reasons.
Penypoo.I got the name bc i swallowed a coin and pooped it out although the coin wasnt a penny.
My dad called me Caiman ..which is a small South American crocodile. I think because I would do the crocodile tears, just one slowly running down my cheek, to get him to give me what I wanted ..my sisters say it was because I liked to bite....whatever. But a while back when my husband and I were at an Amazonian jungle lodge, we were out at night on a canoe looking at nightlife, when the guide caught a small caiman and handed it around to everyone in the boat, my husband was holding it and it got loose, after leaving a good scratch down his arm, he still has the scar, seems appropriate...marked by caiman
I have six siblings, one of which is called Graham. Another sibling named Joe, when younger absolutely loved eating Ham. Being quite young, Joe couldn’t pronounce his brother’s name properly, so he would just call him Ham. The name has stuck for the whole family 32 years later!
My name has always basically been Mouse because im small, quiet, i nibble food and apparently i squeak 🤨 (i have a really quiet voice) i like being called Mouse though it suits me 😂
Moody M______ (I'm censoring my name). I have a lot of anger and tend to show that by how snappy I can be.
Dr. Slop. My room was always a "mess" as I was always creating artwork or some contraption.
Peako. It came from a play my friends and I wrote at creative writing camp. Peako was the voice inside my head that was always hungry. Then there was a girl in my class with the same name (Andrea), so I opted to go by Peako. I went by it so long that I changed it legally.
My dad always called me "knothead". This was because I was so stubborn and never gave up on anything I was doing. He'd say I was as tough as a pine knot. Oh how I miss that man 😞
Mina, i used to do ballet so my mom mashed up my name and the word "ballerina" to make "Willowmina" then later shortened it to just Mina
