Hey Pandas, Tell Me Something That’s Annoying About Your Country And Why Should Someone Live There?
Bureaucracy? Taxes? What's one good thing about your country and what is one annoying thing?

I live in the US, and I love the cultural diversity! Also we have so many options and opportunities many countries do not have. Unfortunately we also have far too many people who don't appreciate that diversity is what made America great in the first place, not small minded cowardly racists.
Annoyingly not everyone drinks tea. Reason to come here? You can drink all the tea you want. Guess the country.
Trying to think of something specific to my country....
Taxes not being included in the shelf price. Some provinces have HST (Harmonized sales tax). The province I live in has GST (Goods and Services Tax) and PST (Provincial Sales Tax), equalling about 12% of the total bill.
Some products, such as milk and baby supplies for example, are retail tax exempted.
Even though the penny has been phased out, there's still 1-4 cents still used in prices where you pay the exact total of the sticker price if you pay by card. If you pay in cash, the total is rounded to the nearest 5 cents. So, if you want to buy a bag of apples for $5.47 by card, you pay $5.47 (not including taxes). If you pay by cash, you would pay $5.45. If the price is $5.48, you would pay $5.50 in cash.
I think Canadians have gotten used to it. But to a foreigner you may have some trouble navigating the system.
Having to hear the stereotypes and same lame old jokes all the time gets annoying.
All in all, the fact all I can think of is petty annoyances is a pretty good indication Canada is not that bad at all. We rank high in being one of the happiest and safest countries in the world.
I think it's customary for the Ask Pandas poster to also add their answer to their question.
