You shouldn’t make caramel in the microwave ever do it in a saucepan and make sure you keep an eye on it often

I Have Had Plenty Of Fails But This Is The Only One I Have A Photo Of
Last year I started trying to give cake decorating a go and asked my mum if she would like me to make her cake. Since I am only a beginner I decided to do a practice cake, and I am so glad I did coz this is the end result. The cake was uneven, the fondant was wonky and cracking and the royal icing I was using for the drip effect was way too runny. On a good note I took it to a friends and it tasted delicious. It was vanilla sponge with lemon curd filling.

Oops, wish I could edit the post so the title isn’t so long. Please excuse the mess, I am a messy cook. Oh and I overcooked the meringues coz I forgot to take into account of having the oven on fan forced.
