As an autistic person, I’d like to hear others experiences with ableism, aka discriminatory behavior against disabled/neurodivergent people.

I'm not the victim in this story but, here goes
I have this buddy, known each other since we were very young children.
He is ADHD but SO. DAMN. SMART.
We were sitting in class and he was fidgeting with his pencil as he can't sit still, and the teacher walks up. Here's the convo that ensued.
F=Friend
T=Teacher
Me= well, me.
T: Mr. (name)?
F: Yes?
T: what are you doing wrong right now?
F: Nothing.
T: You are fidgeting. We don't fidget in this class.
F: I'm sorry I can't sit still Sir. I have ADHD and Have learned to control the extra energy into my hands.
T: YOU. WILL. SIT. STILL.
F: Y-yes, Sir.
The teacher begins to teach the class about triangles. He notices my friend fidgeting again. He walks over and (I KID YOU NOT), Smacks my friends hand with his ruler. The entire class gasps. Luckily the student counselor walks in at the exact moment. The teacher screams, "I SAID NOT TO FIDGET! I DON'T GIVE A F*****G S**T, IF YOU HAVE F*****G ADHD YOU LITTLE BASTARD! YOU ARE SUCH AN IDIOT!"
he got busted.
Idk if it counts but I have social anxiety and had some experiences w/ my ex who didn't understood and didn't wanted to. He didn't care, didn't do any research, didn't listen to me. Example: Ordering food is a really big thing for me that I'm still struggeling with and I asked him if he could order my food for me and he literally said: "Just order your damn food. It's not that big of a deal." He also always talked me into joining his big family parties and was mad when I said that I can't join. I know it's not really ableism since I'm not really disabled but I thought I share my experience with some ignorance torwards mental health issues.
I had this friend with adhd and they were awesome, let's call them A. There was this other person, let's call them J, who we had just met in class
A is fidgeting with a fidget toy that they had the schools permission to take with them.
J walks up to them. "Can you stop, I can't hear the teacher" (It was a silent toy)
A says something like "I have ADHD, and multiple written and signed notes allowing me to have this" J says "Oh my God, You have ADHD? Look over there there's a butterfly" A doesn't look away, but J thought they did because that was their assumption of what someone with ADHD would do. J tries to steal the toy out of A's hands, and being stronger, they grab it. A asks them to give it back and J says "You have ADHD, you'll forget about it next time you see something exciting" At this point the teacher, who has been watching the whole time, steps in. They ask what the problem is, and J responds "I was showing them my fidget toy and they have ADHD so they got ditracted and tried to take it" The teacher just says "No" and takes the thing to give it to A. J says "I have ADHD too, can I have one?" The teacher asked for a doctors note or some evidence, but J of course has none.I had this friend with adhd and they were awesome, let's call them A.
