I noticed you have a scratching post right next to your tree, does it work to deterr the furry climbers? I put my tree up on a 90" round dining table, once the presents are loaded underneath, it leaves no room for the cats to jump up to reach the tree, putting it and the ornaments safely out of reach ;) plus it makes the tree look taller!

Have you put up any holiday decors at all, that your dog couldn’t get too?

Love the Pink Tree, your ceiling fan looks like the one we replaced ourselves 3 years ago and found out that the previous condo owners put it up using the old light fixture box that was rated for 8 lbs or less… but the ceiling fan weighed over 20 lbs and it was also above our bed in the master bathroom. We sleep under it for over 12 years not realizing it could’ve fallen on us at anytime. We now have a better “smart” ceiling fan that’s been installed correctly with the correct junction box rated for over 50 lbs. LOL

My authentic fruitcake this year: fruitcake fed brandy for 2 months, then French apricot preserves spread on top, next a 1/4 inch think layer of home made Marzipan, then frosted with Royal icing and Italian candied fruits! christmas-...e769a3.jpg
