For the record, my parents aren't overly strict and controlling. I was trying to leave this part out but now I see how it sounds- I have some pretty severe mental health issues that made it dangerous to let me cavort about the city on my own.

Johnny "weed" Ritter got me into cat fishing and was my best friend for years. His advice for life's problems was to grab a beer and throw out a line. You throw your problems into the water and hope to pull in some joy.
