As a hermaphrodite they probably just reproduce?

Shes definitely a big girl. She weighs over 600 grams. I keep calling her little lady. A nickname when she was a baby i keep forgetting she a big lady now.

Captive bred snails are much safer to handle than their wild counterparts. Wild snails can carry parasites like lung worm and other types of mite. Whereas captive bred are parasite free and disease free. Its always best to wash your hands after handling any snail, but pet snails won't make you ill. Thank you so much. Unfortunately it depends on where you live. If your in the USA, unfortunately the breed is banned as they are a highly invasive species. They are often kept as pets in the uk and European countries, as they wouldnt survive in our climate. Making them a legal breed to keep. They can be found in many pet shops. If you do live in a place where they a legal to keep and you do decide to get one as a pet. Please go onto a snail forum to seek advice. As they can be difficult to keep as a pet of you don't know all the information on how to keep one. They are easy once you know how to keep them happy and healthy. I use reddit r/snails but there are many other sites like Facebook that have one too.

Aww your snail sounds awesome. My first snails were tiny too. Then i found some giant African land snails dumped in a woods in the middle of winter. I rescued them as they would have died soon after. Ive been keeping and rescuing snails ever since.
