My mom has been an avid gardener all her life, creating a beautiful summer oasis for our family year after year. However, since her garden is in our backyard, most people never get to see the fruits of her labor. I'd love to see some of the beautiful gardens out there and take some time to recognize everyone's hard work in making the world a little more beautiful!

Papa's Irises
My grandpa (Papa) had some beautiful flowers in CA when I was little. He passed many years ago, but before we had to sell their old home my parents transplanted some of his irises to their home in TN. A couple of years ago I started expanding my flower beds and got some transplants from them for my house here in NC. I think these well-traveled flowers have done well.
