I think she's a Cornish Rex or something similar. They have curly fur and it's really short and sometimes sparse. So yeah, she just doesn't have much fur on her belly!

Thank You!! Glad I got this shot, Silver Pass at over 12,000 feet was next and I cried and cried plowing myself and my heavy backpack through over 3 feet of snow. It almost broke my "know it all" teenage psyche. 35yrs later, I wanna pat this girl on the head. She's gonna do so much more!!!

This was a school program out of the Bay Area called C.E.E.P, Community Environmental Educational Program. We did 80 miles in 10 days on the John Muir Trail with our base camp in Mono Hot Springs. It was incredible for a bunch of city bound teenagers!

I don't know if it was the happiest time in my life but it is certainly up there. We travelled from Melbourne to Hay, as far as we could go before the van conked out from the heat (40c+!) Thankfully we got back home after resting it for a while! This is the Murray river, Tocumwal.

I have a good memory of Palolem. Arrived when it was still dark. Figured I could get a few hours sleep under the couter of a closed beachcafe. Sun rises. I get up from under the counter. Just as the barkeeper rises on the other side of that counter, where he apparently slept every night. We startled eachother. He recovered first and offered me coffee.
