So, my partner cheated on me, and I want him to confess, but he keeps denying it, which is driving me crazy. When we avoid the topic, everything seems fine, but whenever it comes up, it turns into a huge fight. I want to discuss it so we can move past this, but his constant denials are just infuriating! I can tell he feels guilty. Should I keep pushing the subject, or should I let it go? Would you want to know? Thanks in advance!

I would want to know. And I would not forgive it and end it right then and there.

Sounds like this weighs heavy on you, so either he confesses or not - the trust is already gone. Up to you if you want to keep pushing it - but if I would be in the situation, I would end the relationship. It's not a good base to build upon.

Cheating often is, but doesn't always have to be, the end of a relationship. I'm not here to tell you what to do, that's a choice that can only be made knowing the full story. I will say that I think your partner's inability to admit the truth is incredibly worrying. Someone who denies the truth is not taking responsibility for their actions. Someone who doesn't take responsibilty for their mistakes is someone who is far more likely to do it again. I wish you well in whatever choices you make. Realtionships can be tough. I believe they need honesty and trust to survive.

Yes. There is no saving the relationship afterward. It ended the moment they cheated.

I would want to know rather than wonder the rest of my days. That's a miserable way to live.

If it was a random one off and they felt the biggest regret of their life then no. Otherwise yes,and I wouldn't stay. I'm not sure but may be able to forgive but I know I'd never forget.
