Unless you're wealthy, a house isn't one less thing to worry about since you're responsible for the upkeep of something that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Now, an apartment, that's something you don't have to worry about. If the water heater leaks and floods the basement, it's someone else's problem.

I know this is cliche' but I've done a lot of thinking about this and if I could have anything it would be endless money, here's why: Not just to pay off my bills and finally be able to tell my kids "Yes" more than "No" (vacations and stuff like that) but if I had endless money I could help everyone. Every single mother that struggles for formula, diapers, child care so she can work. Elderly that can't pay for prescriptions and housing. The shriner's hospital (that one is personal because if not for them almost 40 years ago I wouldn't walk and be what I am today). Homeless people would have homes. Starving children would eat. Abused / abandoned animals would have homes. There's so much I would do and love every minute of it.

For myself, a cure for diabetes. This March will make 28 years I've had it (type 1) and each year comes with some new obstacle I have to figure out when it comes to managing it. Whether it's the insurance stops covering a certain item and/or the rising price of insulin. One change can bring it from a small inconvenience to a stressful financial issue.

Right now it would be money. Whilst on holiday our dog injured himself so had to take him to the vet. Had a consult, was given anti-inflammatories to see if that would help and have a check up in a weeks time and also with some sedatives coz he is easily stressed. Well today was that check up which resulted in him needing an x-ray, blood tests, urine test, anaesthetic, nails clipped, more anti-inflammatories and antibiotics.
We have just found out our dog needs surgery on both knees coz he has Cruciate Ligaments disease which means his ligaments are unstable which makes it easier for him to injure himself, be in chronic pain and develop arthritis earlier. The surgery is gonna cost us $3,500 EACH knee. $7000 which we don’t have so money would be good. Would save us getting a loan.

A portable ACOUSTIC piano. Electronic keyboards and whatnot are great in that they're convenient for storage and carrying around, but ACOUSTIC pianos are the ones that possess the TRUE sound of a piano. For a little context, I'm a music therapy student and piano is my primary instrument. The guitar is mainly used in therapeutic settings, but I would love to see how I could incorporate piano into that.

A time travel machine, with a very specific set of rules.
1. I would be entirely invisible and WOULD NOT be able to influence anything. I just want to go back to a time when I was happy, when I had my friends with me and my dog and everything was great.
2. I would only be able to witness personal things that I was present for (ex, no visiting my childhood crush's house and snooping, because that's insanely creepy). I would however be able to visit historical events (I'd love to write a book).
3. Everything I went to would be entirely safe.
4. My time machine would have built-in protection against paradoxes. It would also be portable, so I would never get stuck away from it.
5. I wouldn't be consumed by nostalgia to the point where I wouldn't remember who I was in the present.
6. First person, second person, and third person views.
7. People could only go with me with my permission.
That's way too detailed but. I'd want that because I'd be able to relive all my happy moments, and I could have access to infinite historical knowledge.

I want to the email that says I’m approved for my college VA money. Classes start next week and I haven’t gotten it yet. If I don’t get it soon, I’m terrified I’m going to be dropped from my scheduled classes (it happened back in my first semester and I’ve been traumatized since). The biggest diamond in the world is around 3000 carats. If yours is twice that size and you make a billion diamond rings, each diamond would weigh around 1.2 milligrams -- the metal part of each ring would be far more valuable than the tiny diamond dust particle. (if you made the rings from silver and each one weighed 2 grams, the silver would cost you $1.6B... but your diamond would likely still be more valuable that if you keep it intact rather than crushing it into dust, that 3000 carat diamond (The Cullinan) is worth around $2B, your mythical 6000 carat diamond would likely be worth much more)

A job/career for my husband that he enjoys and won't continue to break down his body. Covid has made finding gainful employment next to impossible. He's been dealing with pain issues so a lot of grunt jobs would make him miserable. I'm currently fighting to get disability for my own chronic pain and health problems so me getting a job is out. He's a wonderful man who just wants to make enough to provide for our family. I'm sure I sound silly. I just know seeing him with a job, sharing the days events with us, would make him less depressed and add to his sense of purpose.
Either that or give him superpowers. He's a paladin at heart (very strong moral compass so I know he wouldn't abuse them).

And for me a nice comfortable house with plenty of room for my parents to live with me, where we can share some rooms but have our privacy. Animus power!!! Ok, so this is a nerdy Wings of Fire thing. Some dragons in the books have a power where they can basically enchant any object to do anything. This would mean I could help people in financial need, as many people have already mentioned, but I would also be able to solve problems that maybe money can't, like terminal illnesses and such. (Also, it would just be a ton of fun- I could travel into book worlds and computer games and movies/TV, I could bring drawings to life or make magical fantasy creature pets, etc. The power is SO underused in the books and I'd really have a lot of fun with it and do a lot of good too!)

Reed. He's my best friend but he lives four hours away and I'm obviously and irrevocably in love with him. Haven't seen him since Christmas and he works 13 hours a day so I'm asleep when he gets home.
