All of us have times in our lives we'd rather forget. Maybe it's a sad time, or an angry one, maybe it was painful, maybe it scared you. But if you could wipe just one memory from your mind, what would it be?

OP here. I'd love to forget how f*****g painful childbirth was. Our 1st birth was complicated and needed a lot of medical intervention but we ended up with a healthy daughter. I'd just love to forget what it felt like to try and push a watermelon sized baby out of my body.

I would like to forget how you abused me online for saying that I refused access to my home by known criminals. You are no lioness. A very mean and self centered person. Report me o dear. I run my life on internet feedback. I didn't need to know about your labor many of us have done it. Have you started a charity or cared for a disabled partner for 30 years or spent time with the abandoned elderly. You like yourself very well and had advice for me so I see no problem responding to you Lyin S. Lyon? Im from Normandie. The same humanitarian coterie. Thanks for your pity. It still makes me laugh.

Hold up now. Before anyone erases any memories, think about this... Everything you have ever been through has brought you here today. Everything you have ever been through will carry you into tomorrow. Everything you have ever been through has helped to shape and mold the person reading this right now. So to take whatever most embarrassing/horrible memory and ask yourself if you are really ready to erase a part of you. That's right, to erase a memory would be to erase a part of you, yourself. Many Pandas out there have some really horrific memories of someone doing bad things and/or doing bad things to others and/or someone who is no longer with the living. But all of those memories help to shape and mold us into who we are today. What you experience yesterday and today will prepare you for tomorrow. I remind my fellow Pandas that tomorrow is a Brand New Day! 🌞

It's a lovely way of thinking and the comment is extremely well written, but I would gladly risk any change that comes from losing the memory of childhood abuse.
