So we've heard of booktok and bookstagram. I wanna see more posts on BP about writing or books. If I were to actually make it, everyone would be welcome, even if you only read once in a blue moon. its my hope that readers can share their favorite books with everyone, writers can get more advice on their writing, and non-readers can try out both of these things. Please tell me yes or no to this idea!

To give a vague idea of how this would work, answer some of these questions below:

1. What's your favorite genre?

2. Favorite book?

3. Have you ever published a book or short story?

4. And in case you missed this question before, are you interested in the idea of a book community in BP?

Have a lovely day!

1) Probably YA, I can find it difficult to get into fantasy books. I like some non fiction too :)
2) Anything by A.S. King, Angie Thomas or Colleen Clayton
3) No, I don't enjoy creative writing.

1. My favourite genres and fantasy, dystopian, classical, and (sometimes) crime
2. Favourite books: The Hunger Games Trilogy (Suzanne Collins), 1984 (George Orwell), A Gentle Creature (Fyodor Dostoyevsky), No Longer Human (Osamu Dazai), The Setting Sun (Osamu Dazai), and Hard Times (Charles Dickens)
3. I haven't published anything, but I have posted quite a bit on ao3! Mostly just fanfiction and poetry though
4. Absolutely! I think BookPanda would be a great idea, and I would definitely love to be able to post writing, and read other's writing and what not

1 at the moment? True crime.
2 The Handmaids Tale. Or 1984.
3 no but I would love it if I could.
4 yes I would but age differences would be a bit factor. I mean this with no disrespect, and I am not shaking anyone who likes such books, if the book club had a lot of younger readers, YA may dominate, and I am far too old for the genre I suspect, as are many other readers. Not that we could not enjoy the odd YA, but there would have to be a good mix including more adult orientated books.

1. Right now, my top genres are fantasy, horror, and post-apocalyptic.

2. While I haven't read extensively, there are several intriguing titles I've come across. As you know, I've read "Warrior Cats" lol. And I haven't read these yet, but they still intrigue me, such as George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, "Fire and Blood," Harlan Ellison's "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream," "The Divergent Trilogy" by Veronica Roth, and the works of Stephen King. That's all I can remember for now.

3. Hah, no, I have not. I probably won't in the foreseeable future.

4. The PandaBook concept sounds awesome! I'd say definitely give it a shot.

Ty, I hope you have a lovely day too! ✌️🕊️
