Hello Pandas, help me out please, it's typical high school nonsense. There's this guy I have been having a crush on for the past two months. It's not my first time having a crush, I've had several and lost interest after a week or two. This time it's different. Now my problem is how to lose interest because that guy obviously doesn't feel the same and it's getting weird for me.

This won't help you but to answer the question.
My crush tried to run me over in his car kind of killed it stone dead for me.

He must've been crazy to do that. My high-school is mostly residential, so chances for something like that happening is low. But I got your point, know your guy before crushing on him.

I'm not really into studying, but I'm not bad at it. So that might work, thanks for your suggestion! Maybe it'll fade away soon.

What I did when I was in school. I wrote my crush a letter and he talked to me after the period was over and told me in the nicest way possible that he's not interested in me. I said om and we stay friends ate that but I lost touch

Honestly, I'm considering the letter at this point because I can't get over it. Maybe at the end of the school year tho so I won't have to deal with the embarrassment :(

I still haven't gotten over him. But I don't think he has, either.

Its hard, but I won't be ever seeing him again once HS is over. Maybe it'll work out that way. Thanks for your reply.

Avoid him as much as possible, and do lots of studying/sports/hanging out with your friends.
I met my crush 20 years later, and wondered why id been so enamoured.

He's in the same class as me. As for my friends, they always talk about him. Not cause they find him attractive, but because he's annoying (for them). Most students (excluding me) go to this famous entrance academy in the neighborhood, so they know him better. Meanwhile I like him because he's super curious about everything that's not his business, lol. And that's why my friends find him annoying.

I had a few in High School. One I still sporadically think about whenever the subject of crushes comes up.

I crushed on her HARD, for about 2 years! She had a boyfriend most of that time, but near the end they broke up. I asked her out, she said no, nothing changed. I still fancied her, but knew where I stood.

The thing is, unless you ask, you don't truly know how someone feels. A girl I dated in secondary school later told me that she'd had a crush on me for a while before she eventually asked me out. She thought I wouldn't be interested, so never bothered. Then one day, when I complimented her t-shirt and she decided to... just ask.

Dating is not allowed in my school, it's not an official rule but, everyone knows it. Even the few couples in our school are very careful because of this.
