Get back into shape.

Started off decently, but then I just didn't have the time after I got a new tattoo.

Started taking up Karate two months ago, and just got my Yellow Belt this week.

I was on 18 subscribers on YouTube, so my resolution was to get 25. Recently I have hit my goal and I am so proud of what I have achieved, especially since I have had a tough year.

I'm six months clean and sober after a 6 year long meth addiction. I have a job, and a home. Last Christmas and New Years was spent alone in a freezing cold car (which was my home). So yeah, I'd say I did pretty good with my resolutions.

I made the same resolution I make every year.

To not make New Year's resolutions.

So far it's going great 👍

The only new year's resolution I made was a promise to myself that I was going to become a better artist. And so far, I have been becoming better, so yeah :3

Mine was to write a schedule for what to accomplish every day. It has worked quite well, although there are a few days I missed. It is my #1 organization tip. My other one was the thank somebody every day, which I haven't kept up with. Thanks to you Pandas for all the cool posts, though!

I sure have, I promised myself in 2022 that I would take more time for myself, say no to things that didn't serve me, and cut out as many negative things and people in my life as I could. it's been scary to let go of friendships of over 20s years, and mindsets about life and myself that I had. End result= totally worth it. I have my small circle of amazing friends and family, more time for my hobbies, and less headaches and annoyances than ever before.

As someone on this journey too, I hear you- I send some good energy your way. Step by step even if we rest, too!

Yep. I decided to lose weight and get fit. I've lost 3 stone, gone from XL to M, 36 waist to 32 waist. Go to the gym 4ctimes a week. Never been as fit in my adult life. I'm no Adonis, got no big muscles, but am toned up a bit, and don't make noises when I pick something up off the floor anymore. I'm 54, and started doing that

My New Year's resolution is to try not to stay off task or not get distracted by anything else. I've been trying to overcome it for quite some time.

Mine was to get a boyfriend, and I got a boyfriend who is very sweet, and I love him, and my second resolution was to lose weight because I’m fat, and I have successfully lost weight and I have been eating less and drinking a bit more water, only because I have a eating disorder which is slowly getting worse, and I’m getting more skinny and feeling a bit weaker.

I did! In a long winded sort of way. In 2021 I set the goal of getting strong and working my way back to 125lbs. I made it! And the best part, I can lift my leaflings (our fam’s gender neutral term for siblings’ kids) and play with them for longer because I have more stamina! 💗

Mine was to enjoy life more.

2020 hit me with a divorce which made me a single father of two young children in addition to everything else and was an all-around awful year. 2021 I started to feel my life get back on track, but 2022 was going to be my year to really shine.

I found more wonderful friends this year. I started dating someone who is just amazing. I started going to therapy and I love it. I feel more confident as a father and in managing my household. I feel more like myself than I have in I don't even know how many years. I went to concerts, and had adventures and was blessed with an amazing support system.

The difference a year or two has made for me has been miraculous.

To be a better person. I feel as though I have become a much, much, much better person. I'm working on my anger which is mainly from people ruining my order of things (OCD). I also try to help strangers more and more. Like if they drop something, need something, can't reach something, etc. I also try to share more of my things with family and friends. Next year I wanna do more, but I'm not to sure how to. Any suggestions?

Focus on the time you spend with family and friends. I appreciate people giving me their time rather than gifts. Unusual I know, but it makes me feel noticed
