I play the cello, and only one phrase to sum it up:

ELGAR CONCERTO!!!!!!!

Piano and clarinet. Any part was hard because I had to find the notes. I can’t read music. At all. I play by ear. With a wind instrument that can be a bit tricky but piano was always my fave. I wasn’t allowed to touch my grandmother’s piano and I’d watch her play. She left me alone with it one day and I started tapping away at the keys. Played some song I’d heard on the radio and of course, got caught. I wasn’t a smart 5 year old. I wasn’t allowed to be in the room when she played for 6 months but a year later she started teaching me to play. I tried violin once. Sucked at it. I don’t play music anymore now. I do miss the piano though.

Hey! I play cello too!! Still learning but aren't we all, I'd say what I struggle with is tension in various areas of my playing depending on the piece, but in my personal opinion each piece has it's various parts to struggle with, you know?

Another cello here. For me one of the hardest parts is being dedicated when practicing. But overall it’s really fun. 🎻
