So I’m a artist and I’m very annoyed with my art, I don't know much about how to draw so I’m wondering. Do y’all know any art tips? I usually draw in like a cartoony art style and I rarely do realism. People keep telling me to learn shading but I have no idea how to!

Reference photos, lots of references and be patient and takes it while to get a drawing correct
There are wonderful visual tutorials on YouTube that might help
Most of my drawings start off as a simple sketch, some have started off on a bar napkin, piece or receipt paper, whatever. If I like the sketch, I make a photocopy of it, resizing if necessary. Then I trace my sketch onto another sheet of paper on a transparent clipboard, with the screen of my iPad lighting it up from below. As I'm doing this, I am also making improvements and adjustments to the original sketch. I trace softly with pencil until I like what I have. Then I put down the strong pencil lines that are harder to erase. Not sure what you draw, but this works for me and all the absurd images I like to create.
Black and white pencil drawings are what I create. I recommend a good quality pencil like Dixon Ticonderoga or Stabilo, #2 hb. If I add color, I use the app ArtStudio. It's also important to have good paper. I use the cheap non ruled 6”x9” by Mead or Rite Aid. It fits with my drawing style. I tried a more expensive pad but the paper was too thick, therefore also soft, so there's that. I also avoid final drawing work on humid days, which also softens the paper. Keep drawing! Follow your inspirations. If you try hard enough, are persistent, and really want to, you can create any image your mind can think of.
