i recently realized i'm nonbinary, and while i like the name bee i want to explore some other options and fully settle on something. if you could also give me advice on how to come out that would be great. some names i like already are kit, ash, charlie, cal, raine, zee, ollie, and blair.

It must be a relief to not hide a big part of yourself. That must be exhausting. I'm happy for you! OK, nuetral names.

Harlow, Remi, James, Jaimie, Flynn, Casey, Morgan, Reagan, Dylan, Ash, Blake, Jordan, Riley. Could you tell me your name given at birth? Maybe there's something to work with there that's gender nuetral. If you want to. I'd love to hear what you decide. 😁

D is a great letter to start your name with ( I might be prejudiced) :) though it's a challenging one for gender neutrality. I'm just gonna throw some random stuff up for you: Dash, Doar, Daro, Dabe, Dez or just D / Dee.

I'm not wonderful at this specifically but I can give you tips! I'd recommend taking a short sound or nickname form your current name (for me it was z, which my friends still call me sometimes) and going on baby name websites to find names that feature that sound. If you go with bee or B, I'd recommend choosing a name that starts with or majorly features B. (My name starts with z cause Google is very not helpful at finding names with z in them that don't start with z). Blair is a good option but I personally would lean towards something a bit less unusual, although that's just me. I'd recommend going with a name that you've seen other adults with or is vaguely common so you won't think it's immature or cringy in a few years (not me having the most basic name I could find). Also, if it has a meaning that you like, that's good. Also, if you're going with something shorter (kit, cal, etc) I'd recommend finding a longer, more professional version for work or school. Also, consider asking your friends for their feedback. They know you and they have a different perspective on your name (I personally ended up between my name and zayden, which is in retrospect a horrible name and I am glad my friends stopped me). Be aware that baby name websites are toue friend and you should look at them as much as possible. If you want my actual opinion on your names, I really like Ollie and i think it'd be great for you. Charlie is also cute, but it reminds me of a kid I know and my entire friend group calls him either Charles or Chuck as a joke, so be aware of that possibility. Kit is also adorable, but it seems like more of a nickname than a full name. It's also more feminine than not I believe. Ash is a classic for queer kids, and it does have longer forms, but the longer forms are really either masculine or feminine without an in between. Raine is nice, but the extra e on the end sorta puts me off. It's a bit 'quirky/unique' for my taste. Zee is. Uh. That's my nickname so I can't comment there. Again, I really like Ollie and Blair is pretty nice, but seems a bit more unusual (the 'quirky/unique' thing again) than what I'd go with.
    Hope that helps!

thank you, i think this is the most helpful submission on here so far lol. i'm like really leaning towards ollie currently, and ik a lot of people use that name but there's a reason, it's a good name. and yeah i don't think a quirky name would be very nice in a few years. i'm currently on my last few days of spring break but when i get back to school i'm gonna ask my friends for their opinions on a bunch of names. i had a friend that took about eight months to choose his name and he experimented with a bunch of different ones for months at a time and one of those names was ollie, but other than online i don't know anyone with that name so i think it'd be a good choice.
