I didn't know its ask an atheist day! Can you paint me a picture with words of your dream hamburger?
Ahhh, hello fellow atheist!! How are you today?
Omm, I accidentally pressed the post button, I forgot to include this: What made you an atheist, and how does it affect your life?
Where you always an Atheist or did you lose your faith in a god?
I always was. I was not raised religious (nor atheist), and that was the logical path I followed on my own. Because of this, seeing religion from the outside did help my choice of never following it.
1. How do you deal with the meaning and reason for existence?
2. What do you think happens to you when you die?
3. Do you ever get homesick for somewhere else? Like an intense sense of not belonging? How do you deal with that?
1) I believe we're no more than a random accident of existence... so just enjoy and don't harm others. Make your own goals and reasons to live. 2) Nothing. You just banish and will be forgotten in a few years just like almost everyone. 3) I had that sense of "not belonging" in my home country. So, I moved.
Does it ever bother you that the absence of God means that much of the injustice and hurt in this world will go unpunished?
If god is all-powerful, it also means that the injustice of this world is also his will. Life is not fair, nature is not fair, the universe doesn't care about you. Yes, somethings go unpunished. Once a criminal dies, any punishment he deserved in life will never happen.
How do you feel about any religion in general? Do you believe that religion reflects on a person's personalities, if so how does that affect you during first impressions?
if they're hyper-religious, you can tell in the first meeting. if they're mildly religious, it'll be noticeable later
