You're queer and there's no denying it, how did you get over self hate and learn to accept yourself for who you are?

I think I’m bi…, but i live in a really homophobic household to the point where me and my mom watched an ad where a gay couple appeared and she kinda looked disgusted and mad, So no, I don’t accept myself and I don’t know hos

It’s not an easy process but trust that it will come with time. If you don’t already know it in yourself, please be aware that your sexuality is natural and not something bad. Also, it defines us so much less than other qualities, for example how we treat other people. Possibly you don’t feel very certain of these things as yet. If not, you will get there. You know yourself better than anyone, and one day you’ll define yourself in your own terms. It will happen.

Oh also, I forgot to mention that my dad had a similar reaction to seeing two men kissing on TV back when I was in my teens. He fully averted his eyes in disgust. A few years later, he was the first person I came out to and he’s one of my biggest supporters. I’m well aware I’m luckier than some in that regard, but the take away is that people can surprise us when we give them opportunity.

I'm sorry to hear that, I can relate. Reaching out to others online is one way, just like you are now. Trust me there are many people in this world who love and accept you for who you are, you just have to know where to look. Keep trying and don't give up, self acceptance is hard but you'll get there eventually 💛💛💛
