Finally, the wait is over! Magicians at our IT department have just released an Android app. It took us much longer than we expected, but you can finally enjoy reading Bored Panda on the most popular smartphone operating system out there. Grab it on Google Play!
Fun fact: 75% of our team uses Androids, and only 25% use iOS. There’s a constant battle which system is better, but we looked at our statistics and saw that most of our readers use iOS. That’s why it was released first.
Our developers – Karolis, Gediminas and Aurimas – are looking forward to hearing your reviews and feedback.
Here are some key features:
* It’s faster: This app is way faster than our mobile website. We significantly boosted the performance on both the server and client sides. With a 3G connection, loading a new story usually takes less than one second.
* Less is more: We spent a lot of time polishing the design and user experience. Every detail was taken care of and all unnecessary stuff was stripped out from our feeds and posts. Reading stories, voting and commenting has never been more fun!

Like it but: 1. Needs a search feature. 2. It's very hard to scroll through the drop-down category menu without accidentally swiping it away.

Yay! So far so good. Functional, easy to use, easy to share posts on Facebook. Much better than using my internet browser. (I am using this on a Samsung S7)

wahoohhh its amazing interface now I can access all updates easily on my phone. this is the second after Sqrrl Fintech which I love to allot because it makes my work simple.

Really amazing app it is. Fast loaded and nice user interface with speedup navigation bar. I always wanted to see boredpanda in an android app and now here it is. Really so happy. 😊

Am i missing something? This is the shittest app ever as it has no search function...why would i want to browse what other people throw at me instead of searching for what i want...i’ve had to ditch the app for this reason...

Tell me if I'm really being dumb, but your fun fact does not make sense to me :D saying your readers mostly use iOS and then "that's why we've released it first", but isn't it in Google Play we've now got? :D

Ah and the video player is not working well, it takes a lot to play a 35 seconds video(it isnt the network)

but actually i prefer the top comment to be loaded together with the pictures and consecutive comments to be loaded without directing to another page (just like the web version), cause sometimes the comments are pretty entertaining ^^
