Man Makes To-The-Point Videos About Common Women’s Issues, And Here Are 30 Of His Best Insights (New Pics)
Interview With AuthorOver the past few decades, women have made significant strides towards equality. But while we celebrate such accomplishments and notable gains, females still continue to face injustices every day. When unwanted remarks, unpleasant experiences, and offensive behaviors seem to be normalized in today’s society, there’s still lots we can do to build a more gender-equal world.
Thanks to feminist, writer, and video content creator Mohammed Farhan, we get to see informative and concise clips about these issues. He’s shining a light on the common problems women face and points out the problematic actions of men concerning each of them. While addressing toxic masculine behavior, he’s also sharing how to properly react and what to avoid doing as a man.
We have collected some of Mohammed’s best quotes, full of wholesome masculinity, empathy, support, and respect. So take a look, upvote the ones you agree with and make sure to share your thoughts in the comment section below. Psst! Don’t forget to check out Part 1 of this post right here.
@turtleneckemo Let’s reframe the discourse on birth control. Women unfairly bare the brunt of the issue. #feminist #feminism #feministiktok #misogyny #patriarchy ♬ original sound - Farhan

Sex with consent is just sex. There's no such thing as "consensual sex". The same way there's no such thing as "non consensual sex" That's r*pe. We have sex and we have r*pe. When we go swimming we don't call it "breath swimming" or "non breath swimming" We call it swimming, or drowning
Where I live, this is most commonly heard when celebrities or politicians are accused of "impropriety." You'll get stories like "Local Politician Had Non-Consensual Sex with a 15-Year-Old Prostitute" when the story should be "Local Politician Raped a Minor."
That grown man does not think you're mature for your age. Women his own age, just see the bum in him. He's a predator, he's preying on you because you have less experience in identifying his red flags. Instead of getting into his car report him to the relevant authorities
Previously, Mohammed shared with Bored Panda that the best approach to fighting sexism and toxic masculinity revolves around early education. “But more importantly, I believe, is teaching young men of their specific roles in the patriarchy and how toxic masculinity is dangerous to both themselves and those around them,” he told us.
We reached out to the video creator to find out what changes happened in his life over these past few months. “I finished my Master’s degree, and am super proud of how I did. So I’m currently a Master in Politics and IR,” he said.
“Regarding my social media, I’ve been able to gather a large enough platform to officially help out with loads of initiatives and organizations such as The Female Lead and Women’s Equality Party.” Mohammed mentioned it has been “super nice to be a part of, and such a great learning experience” to be surrounded by incredible people.
It's terrible a teenage child ends up in that situation of becoming pregnant, by force or by accident. That Plan B pill should be available to teens just as easily as pads and tampons, and without shame. To be forced to go through an abortion or to carry to full term is both hard on their bodies and both can be further violating and traumatizing. Although, I do think it's good abortions are legal, here. I don't agree they should be glamourized as an easy fix suitable for all. It's not, and safe abortions still come with risk and psychological/emotional trauma. How about we start teaching boys respect towards girls.
Margaret Atwood once said... if you asked a man what he's most afraid of in women. He will say "being ridiculed or laughed at" but if you asked a women what she's most afraid of in men, she will say "r*pad and murdered." That helps contextualise things
No one is saying that violence against men is okay. But we should also recognize that women are FAR more likely to be murdered or raped by their partners than men are. (Stats show women are twice as likely to be murdered, and four times as likely to be raped.) That's real, and it's something that men, especially men who date women, should recognize.
When asked about his followers, the creator said he could group them into three distinctive categories. “Firstly, many amazing women follow me who see my content as a safe place,” he noted. “Many have told me it brings them a lot of reassurance to know that a man can align himself with the struggles of women and that, because of this, they know it isn’t an alien concept to hold other men to that same standard.”
“Secondly, we have the men who send me countless messages in solidarity with my videos,” he continued. They say “they feel more comfortable being active on the same issues, as I have shown men can be vocal allies to the cause and create a vibrant community of supporters and contributors.”
“Finally, we have the hate.” Mohammed explained that the majority of the hate is through men saying “I am emasculating myself for what I do. To them, I say—my masculinity does not require the oppression of women, and for that I am a much healthier and happier individual with amazing personal relationships because of it.”
@Myopinionhasbeenserved-Girls who have been with x number if guys are considered a whore and it runs her reputation. Guys that have been with the same number of girls are considered studs. Girls that play with cars as a child are fine but boys showing interest in something "girly are sissy. The list goes on and on.
Whereas a man can get an indefinite amount of women pregnant in a year. So why is it all the pressure on birth control is on women. When the issue OBVIOUSLY lies with men
I noticed this all along. Don't tell women to "close their legs" just because she has kids. That's disgusting. For every woman who has kids with multiple men, just think of how many kids those men have with other women.
“Men make up half the population and maintain much more than half of the institutional privileges and powers. If any progressive movement (especially feminism) is to do well—it would require not just the support of men, but the vocal alliance and the physical activism too,” he said.
Fortunately, he sees a positive change in our society. “Recently, many men have taken up this mission too, such as Justin Baldoni—and in this, I see a real shift happening in the success of the noble goals of the feminist and larger class-based issues!”
Mohammed is really grateful to all his supporters: “You’ve all been invaluable and I cherish every lesson and experience I’ve been fortunate enough to share with you. This year, there are a lot of big things coming, such as a YouTube channel I’ve been preparing for the last 3 months, to larger initiatives with other organizations and people I’ll be announcing soon,” he revealed some of the upcoming events in his life.
NO MEANS NO! I have a bf- NO! I'm not interested-NO! NO-NO! Respect the word NO!
I know this because of how protective they get of daughters, sisters or girlfriends when they have to go out at night. Ask yourself: who are they protecting them from?
Bored Panda also had a chat about toxic and healthy masculinity with Dr. Jesse Matthews, a licensed clinical psychologist. “Toxic masculinity is an extreme version of common masculine traits like strength, courage, and independence,” he told us.
“These traits, as well as masculinity and femininity, exist on a spectrum and are perfectly healthy when not taken to an extreme. Masculinity becomes toxic when it becomes about power and dominance, disregard for others and for consequences, and rejection of anything seen as feminine or not masculine.”
But the truth is, it was men who withheld those rights in the first place. Women had to die, fighting to recover the few rights they have today and there's still a very very long way to go.
Matthews explained that such a macho attitude is harmful to those who ascribe to it “because their focus is on obtaining or holding power and showing others this tough, impenetrable exterior, rather than relating to others in an honest or genuine way.” This mentality also has serious consequences: “It leads to loneliness, lack of connection, and often anger, depression, and use of unhealthy coping skills like displays of aggression and substance abuse.”
“Toxic masculinity harms others who are victims of it—women, of course, and also other males who are viewed as feminine or not masculine enough,” Matthews added. “Endorsing toxic masculinity also affects those closest to the person, including their partners and children, since the relationships and role modeling may be about the man holding power and never showing weakness.”
Isn't it strange how films won't show an ounce of body hair on a woman even during a zombie apocalypse movie. But will happily throw in violent r*pe scenes. Just for some level of "realism"
It is strange. Some levels of realism should not be displayed for entertainment purposes.
You're admitting that your version of masculinity requires the oppression of women
And there are people, even here on BP, who will mock folks who support women empowerment and feminism and will call them "fake feminists" just to get on their nerves, and mostly because they have absolutely nothing meaningful and thought-provoking things to say.
Because men cannot handle not being centered in the conversation. Its the same reason conversations about race have to be recentered on white feelings by conservative commentators.
When men are not being open or vulnerable, it’s hard for them to form deep connections. “And, of course, boys raised by someone demonstrating toxic masculinity are likely to internalize the same thinking,” the licensed psychologist continued. Meanwhile, “girls may feel less than the males in the family or could become submissive in their interactions with males.”
Men with toxic masculinity often have negative views towards women’s rights because it “involves keeping power over others, most of all women,” Dr. Jesse Matthews added that this is essentially the basis of sexism.
“Since traditionally men have held more power, they may view this as the natural order of things and as something they don’t want to give up. Women’s rights are about being treated equally to men, so men who believe they are entitled to power over women are likely to resist this.”
Let's talk about the misogynists who, in one sentence will try to convince you that: women should dress modesty because men have "uncontrollable urges" and then in the next sentence they'll try to convince you that: that men are in the best position to control WHOLE countries
I'll tell you what's really messed up. Womens careers are hurt more by having children than mens are for LITERALLY sexually assaulting coworkers
Working mums get called neglectful parents, and stay-at-home mums get called anti-feminists. But those people need to mind their own f*****g business.
When it comes to men with healthy masculinity, they actually have most of the same traits, only in more moderate amounts. “In addition, they do not fear having some degree of feminine traits. And this has absolutely nothing to do with their sexuality or how manly they are! Common feminine traits include sensitivity, empathy, vulnerability, self-awareness, and cooperation.”
He continued: “A man with healthy masculinity may be strong, independent, and assertive, but he can be these things without disregarding or seeking power over others. He can be successful in whatever his goals are, yet still care about other people, seek support or ask for help when necessary, and help others or work cooperatively with them.”
If a woman with body hair offends you and you have any body hair of your own, your issue isn't with body hair... your issue is with women
Never forget that the whole “female body hair is gross” BS was made up by Gillette in the 1920s to sell more razors.
Is because they know, the more sexual experience you have, the more likely you are to call out their really bad sexual performace in bed. It's not you're a "sl*t" it's just that they're wildly insecure
Also you know they only want young virgins. I’m 37 and still a virgin, largely because I heard about how strong and savvy women are expected to be when dating and was like “I think I’ll wait until I’m mentally strong enough to deal with that”, and I somehow doubt those men are thinking of women like me when they bang on about wanting virgins.
Dr. Jesse Matthews concluded that healthy males are secure in themselves and their masculinity, “and they don’t feel threatened by women having more rights or by less masculine people existing in the world.”
I'm about to show you two graphs about the way that men look at women and girls. Individually these graphs are scary, but when we put them together. The image is absolutely HORRIFYING. The first graph asked a group of women what age they were when they first noticed them being sexually looket at by men. The second graph asked men between the ages of 20-50 to put down what age they found most sexually attractive. An important part to note in this second graph is that 20 is the LOWEST age they were allowed to choose
I had to open it in a separate window to see, but the chart on the left goes from age 7 to 18 (with TWELVE [!] being the highest bar), and the chart on the right shows the men's answers, which are mostly 20 or 21, with the oldest being 24. Ew. Just... Ew.
Yes, that's why the term "pro life" is so outrageously inaccurate. The correct term is "anti-choice." Everyone needs to work it into their dialogue.
As one who was raped at 14 years old-Rape is traumatic. There's nothing funny about it! I am now 43 and still have all the feels from the day it happened.
This is especially true for the internet. We don't take cyber harassment as seriously as we should, I believe.
That "asking for consent ruins the mood" Because what he's actually just done there is admitted that he's in the mood to r*pe
How hard is it to simply ask “are you sure?”, and wait to hear “yes” before going any further? Not at all a mood killer. In fact, it can be a mood enhancer for the woman—-and if her mood is enhanced, yours will be too.
If women who like women can control themselves around other women, maybe what she was wearing was never the issue. We need to stop compensating and making excuses for predatory men
R*pe culture is shaming a woman for being "too drunk" but then excusing a man for being "influenced by alcohol"
"She should have been more careful", "She shouldn't have worn a short dress", "She was asking for it", and the BS goes on and on.
Society tries to tell us that marriage is something women SHOULD want and men typically try to avoid. However new research has come out that indicates where married men benefit significantly compared to their single counterparts. Married women suffer DEEPLY. From a decreased life span to increased levels of stress, anxiety and depression, but the real kicker is the fact that... married men are likely to do better in their career ladders. Whereas married woman are less likely to even get a raise. So the next time a man tells you "marriage is for the sake of women" Know that they're either selfishly lying to you, or require a bit of educating
I think those happiness studies showed that single women were happiest. Its why conservative/ religious men are freaked out about women being financially independent. If we aren't dependent on them, we don't need to put up with the BS or make their lives easier.
Unfortunately they are hardly heard unless a man says it.
Load More Replies...This is the only person I follow on Instagram reels. It's very helpful when men speak up like this for women. We need men to do this bc women are often dismissed when we bring these issues up. Men listen to other men. Also the comments on his videos are all mostly lovely and it's refreshing of course there are some nasty men but they get shut down very quickly.
Murdering a women because she left you is called a 'crime of passion' while in reality it's just cold-blooded and misplaced revenge fueled by entitlement and ego.
But if a woman kills a man who beat her, r*ped her, trafficked her... she gets thrown in prison to rot because she's a danger to society. Women aren't allowed to fight back.
