There are some salty posts here.... As a mom of a 12yo, THANK YOU. Yes. We need 78 of these. We need 780 of these. These need to be hung up in every school bathroom everywhere. Kids SAY they know it's fake and blah blah, but this is a powerful post to support understanding and conversation. Show this to your daughters AND your sons. Have some real talk about how they feel when they look in the mirror. And for the salty post people... congratulations on missing her point. She's trying to do some good in the world and you have to take the time to stop and b***h about it.

BoredPanda, did we really need 78 Instagram images to get a point across? The post could have been some much more interesting and powerful if a short article detailing how social media and societal norms can affect body image.

I had a girlfriend in my 20s who was 95lbs at 19 and thought she always had to go to the gym. She was toned 24/7, this girl taking all the vapid selfies is someone who used to be skinny but ha never gone to the gym.
