Parents Create ‘Harry Potter’ Nursery For Their Muggle-Born Little Wizard
You’re never too old to be a Harry Potter fan. Nor, it seems, can you ever be too young. In fact, Tiffany Nicole and her husband made sure that their fourth child was destined to be a Potterhead even before he was born by creating this magical Harry Potter-themed nursery for him.
“I just recently introduced the movies to my other children,” Tiffany told Buzzfeed. “And that’s when we decided it would be perfect to design his nursery with a story that has made such an impact on my childhood.”
The couple used items mainly bought from Etsy and Amazon to turn the room into a spellbinding Harry Potter treasure trove. Quidditch set? Check. Sorting hat? Check. Mandrake and flesh-eating slug repellent? Check. There’s even a Monster book of Monsters!
So if you’re about to begin designing your own nursery, maybe these pictures will give you some inspiration. And if you’ve already finished…well…you might want to think about starting again.

And as you can see, their idea is sure to have a magical impact on their new baby!
The room is filled with everything you can think of from the Harry Potter series
Even the tiniest things, such as a light switch, has spells written on it
The room is complete with a beautiful broom, great for those quidditch matches when the baby grows up
There’s even a photograph of the original Order of the Pheonix!
Potterheads are sure to recognize all the items on display
Such as Luna’s Qibbler…
Mandrake and flesh-eating slug repellent…
A copy of the Daily Prophet…
Even Fang is there!
A lot of the items were bought online, such as these wands and Bertie Botts every flavor beans

Share on FacebookBy the time a baby is old enough to focus beyond a face-distance away, they are stimulated by primary colors, not black and white and neutrals. This room is adorable, but it's not designed with the needs of an infant in mind. Save this theme for when the child is much older, or use it to decorate a room in the house that the whole family will enjoy together.
So why so many firts toys are black and white? Cuz thats the only thing really wisible for kids... Plus, It doesn't matter what colour the room is, c'mon... Why wait with decorating? Buz baby needs wha? Pink and blue and teddys an rabbits? Pshhh...
Load More Replies...Just my thought. It's beautiful and full of amazing details but many of those are really scary and the room is quite dark.
Load More Replies...That's what I was thinking! What newborn likes Harry Potter if they haven't even read it?
Load More Replies...I love this room, it really is great with all the details. However for an infant this is just way too much. Too much going on in a child's room at a very young age can overstimulate them and it can cause them to get very upset. Their room should be a place of comfort and relaxing tones. Not overly done. Babies are very curious and will just keep staring off at something simple for a while, this could be too much for a baby to handle.
This is horrible for a baby? Literally nothing in there is designed for a child. It's an awesome collectors room for adults. A Harry Potter theme is cute but you have to remember that it's for your infant, not you.
These parents did the child a great disservice by not letting their newborn read the books first before watching the movies
Sorry, but while agreeing with a lot of the other comments...this room is pretty neat but not meant for a baby...and definitely not meant for a small toddler, i hope they plan to remove all of those glass bottles...and the broom probably should have been mounted much higher and horizontally. i also highly doubt the baby is going to play chess...and all of those paper items would also be in trouble. Having other children i'd like to think that the parents would know this and the items are only there for the sake of the photos.
Beautiful room, but would be better for one of their older children-too much for a young child.
Ooh my god! I really want all of these Harry potter items!!! Lucky baby!
It's very neat, I am a big fan of the harry potter series also.....but this is supposed to be a babies room. It's very dark, not to mention all of the choking hazards that are within reach all over the room. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Not much forethought on their parents part. It would be better saved for when they are older and can appreciate this kind of thing.
Probably not for a baby- but I'd sure as hell want that room. I don't think it's overly fair to put a Gryffindor wall-piece in it, though, considering the child hasn't even been sorted yet (;
We took a more colorful approach with our daughter's Harry Potter nursery. 😊 https://youtu.be/cxmdaFxc0-U
This is amazing!!!!!! Just amazing!!!!!!! I think they should adopt me!!!
I agree. The room is scary for a child and too many hazards with all the knick-knacks on the shelves...those will all have to be put away...better to save it for when he's older...if he even cares about Harry Potter by then!
They are pretty much trying to force the baby to love some stupid potted hairy, not letting it grow up and decide what it likes for itself.
