Let’s face it. After a life spent dealing with our daily whims and struggles, moms deserve a little pampering from their kids. Whether it’s a fancy vacation to Hawaii or a new pair of slippers (see what better fits your wallet), mom deserves it all. Not everyone can say they have been blessed enough to enjoy the love of a good mother, that person who cherishes you despite all your flaws. If, like me, you’re among the lucky ones, Mother’s Day is the perfect occasion to honor the special bond shared with our moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, and mother figures.

While you think about the gift (sorry, we cannot help you with that), it is also nice to express in words how much your mother means to you. Below you can find some of our favorite great quotes about mothers that are perfect for Mother’s Day. Famous authors, writers, philosophers, celebrities, and even characters in movies have had their own way of expressing how much they appreciated the woman that made them the person they are. You can write down one of these quotes about motherhood in your message or use them for inspiration to create your own. Up to you!

Yes and that's why it's so important to try to stay happy in life too. Obviously not all the time, it's human to have a range of emotions but find something to make you generally happy. Children notice if you are miserable (from a bad marriage or lack of own interest outside parenthood etc) and will have an idea that that's what life is about. Make yourself happy so you can show happiness to your kids.

My grandmother died unexpectedly in 1989; I’m now 66 years old and I’ve never stopped missing her. Were she still alive she would be 113 years old…that said, her Aunt Carrie lived to be 105. My grandfather lived 11 more miserable years, just waiting to die.
