At her age I would never have thought of such a thing. Being alone would have been so depressing. But now at 73, I love my solitude more than almost anything else. My Charlie shares my bed at night, and I can do pretty much what I wish, because I'm self-employed, and my shop is in my basement. But what seems so natural to me looks a bit out of place with someone so young, and by all appearances content with herself. Of course, I suffer from depression and she obviously doesn't. 🤔
