These breathtakingly intricate miniatures are the work of Japanese artist Kiyomi, a mother of two who manages to find the time to dedicate to her hobby sometimes even waking up as early as 4 AM.

Kiyomi is clearly inspired by the early industrial age, which she recreates with remarkable accuracy in her miniature world. From tiny hats and shoes to sewing machines, tiny furniture, and even a bakery, stocked with brightly colored cakes, her work of art takes you back in time to Victorian England or Revolution-era France, it will make you wish you still had that dollhouse!

If you like this unique art you can check out Kiyomi’s Instagram and Website, everything is handmade and the food looks good enough to eat!

Years ago I was cured with my little daughter from hard times. In our absence my husband created a dollhouse including kitchen, bathroom with a tub, living room, child's room and bedroom. He cared a lot that time (nowadays too) to make us feeling happy. For Christmas Eve we went to a special shop to buy the interiors. This little shop deep in the snowy Blackforest will stay in my memories, and of course the face of our daughter unpacking her gift from Santa. That kind of artwork is very expensive, because of the tiny details and the dedication of the artist. You are very very talented. You could make a fortune in UK, of all Europeans they love dollhouses the most. Greetings from Germany and all the best wishes for you.

This is why I am afraid to reproduce. These creative parents are setting the bar so high. Honestly I couldn't have even made these things if my child asks me to, even if I have to make regular sized things. These are beautiful, and now my self esteem is far away down the gutter. 😭 (The Artist is the Goddess Of Dedication 😊)

Well, I guess my efforts with a huge cardboard box and crayon-drawn windows was a bit lame, eh?

Those are just wondrous. Really I'm at a loss for words. I will say, I couldn't do that.

OR...it would teach them appreciation for art. My parents had fine things when my brother and I were small and we grew up understanding them.

How?? Beyond the amazing creativity, how does she get her eyes and hands to create on such a miniature scale!? Gorgeous
