I taught myself to embroider as well and I have to say I understand what went into making these items. You have a wonderful technique, particularly with the animal portraits, these are just lovely.

I love your work. I love your multicolored threads that creates the shading. I've always been artistically inclined like my grandmother so when I was in my teens, she taught me to embroider...I spent 30 mins on it and only took it out again when we had to move four years later. It was one of the few things I didn't have the patience to do which is why these are all the more impressive to me. It must have taken you so much time and effort to do!
