I Started Embroidery A Year And A Half Ago And Fell In Love With It. Here Are My 41 Best Designs
Hi, I’m Yulia. I’m an embroidery artist based in Cleveland, Ohio. I started embroidering a year and a half ago and fell in love with it right away. I’m inspired by nature and animals.
In addition to original pieces, jewelry, and pet portraits, I also make custom ultrasound embroidery. You can find more of my work on Instagram and my Etsy shop.

This is my fave. I would love to see it when its done. It looks like a painted picture. <3
Thank you. You can see the finished piece on my Instagram!

Very nice embroidery work. It would appear that you've been doing this for quite sometime.
they are all beautiful, but this is just amazing! i have never seen ultrasound picture in embroidery! I could have never imagine it - just brilliant!
This is so beautiful and thoughtful as well. You are an amazing artist and have a true talent here! I cannot decide which is my favorite as I love them all! :)
Imagine how good you'll be in 2 years! That moon is amazing! Perfect stitching.
Clothes pens for holding floss is the most unique idea I have seen in a long time. Thanks for the trick.
This has got to be the most beautiful and personal gift you could give anyone. You are a very talented person. I love your work.
great framing and presentation on these. That makes such a difference.
How is work this good in SUCH SMALL PORTIONS!!! This must have been hard to complete with the size!!! Lovin it my dudes!!!
Ok, i can sew, but just like patch up stuffed animals, resew a button, or make little stuffed animals from scratch, and i am teaching myself how to do the ones in the wooden circular thingies, but NOTHING compared to these!!!
I am embarrassed to admit this, but I was moved to tears looking at this art. The details in the animals is amazing!
Nothing to be embarrassed about! Your tears mean that you're open and moved by beauty...that's a wonderful thing! :-)
Load More Replies...I taught myself to embroider as well and I have to say I understand what went into making these items. You have a wonderful technique, particularly with the animal portraits, these are just lovely.
Ok, I've been to a lot of thrift stores in the south, seen lots of embroidered stuff by lots of old sweet ladies, but DAMN! You are REALLY GOOD!! Some of the animals look like painted pictures. Keep it up, what you've done is beautiful.
Wow... I can't believe how talented this person is. Those are stunning!
Lovely work! I too re-started doing needlework about 8 months ago...I am getting my nerve up to do a post on BP. (I am doing Images based on my photos I took on my many trips to Italy & some images from the phenomenal sunsets here in southern Arizona...stay tuned)
I just looked at this out of curiosity/boredom. I never imagined I'd say I was impressed about embroidery but I am.
I love your work. I love your multicolored threads that creates the shading. I've always been artistically inclined like my grandmother so when I was in my teens, she taught me to embroider...I spent 30 mins on it and only took it out again when we had to move four years later. It was one of the few things I didn't have the patience to do which is why these are all the more impressive to me. It must have taken you so much time and effort to do!
Absolutely gorgeous - you are truly blessed with talent! Thank you for sharing your heart. :-)
Totally amazing!!! I tried it many years ago and never got the hang of it. The pieces are so beautiful!
Yulia do you have an Instagram profile to follow?! I've been embroidering for a while too but not nearly as good as you!
Beautiful & so talented. Ive seen people who's done embroidery for years that's not reached this level. 💗
