I swear that my doggos think I go for an 8 hour car ride without them, 5 days a week!
It's funny. When were raising our children our parents watched them for the week or so we were gone. Sometimes we hired a trusted sitter. We missed them while we were gone. But we didn't really fret and wonder if we made the right decision - as all parents do. However, we're going on a trip next month for almost 2 weeks. We found a reputable kennel nearby. But already we're both missing our girl and hoping she'll be okay and that the kennel owner will take care of her. Silly but I "talked" to our dog about it. I told her we didn't really want to leave her and that I was sorry that we'd miss her and this and that and...... I was rationalizing it. To our dog! Don't judge me but I feel worse about it than with our children. Weird, huh?
My first thought on seeing these cartoons were, that they were not very well drawn, but after reading some I realised that they are very good.
I think they are both well drawn and great in general. A lot of people, definitely including myself, need the joy and positive these bring. Not to mention, there are tons of very popular comics that are done in almost stick figure style much less detailed than these. You don't need to be da Vinci to make a comic. In fact, a lot of the time when they get to detailed they lose the impact of the meaning
