Artist Turns Parents’ Home Into Haunted House Straight Out Of A Tim Burton Film
Christine McConnell, the incredibly talented artist and photographer whose terrifying cakes we wrote about earlier, has just shared a creepy set of Halloween decorations that she created for her parents’ home. Using hand-painted foamboard designs as home decor, she turned her parents’ house into a giant, fanged, sleepless and absolutely scary house-monster.
Fortunately for other Halloween enthusiasts, she also shared photos of the home makeover process. She used foam-core boards to create eyes and teeth for the haunted house, making them light, inexpensive, and easy to work with. To top it all off, she has also used matching outdoor Halloween decorations such as giant spider webs and antique street lamps. Now, we’re not sure how could one match the creepy house created by Christine, but it is sure worth trying!
