Gyumri, the second city of Armenia. After an earthquake in 1988, thousands of people were left without their homes, friends, families, hope. After years, some of them got small homes called "domik".
Years passed but the city stayed as it was in 1988.
When I came to Gyumri for the first time in 2016 I didn't know exactly when was the earthquake. Walking and seeing the buildings I thought it must have happened some 3 years ago - not 28.
