Right lol I’m in uk n got 15 the obvious ones n hospitality ones cos that was my job for decades lol but a few I was like wait what never seen it before 🤷♀️funny enough I got those right 😂
20/21 - Didn't know that the "U" means kosher since we indeed don't see that daily here in Germany (I think?)
It's kind of silly, because it symbolizes OU (The U inside of an O) for Orthodox Union, which is a network of synagogues, youth programs, Jewish and religious Zionist advocacy, etc. and is based in New York. So probably not relevant for most Afro-Eurasian and Oceanic Pandas.
Load More Replies...10 is completely wrong. That is a Nuclear Symbol, could say fallout shelter underneath the the symbol is for Nuclear Ionization
Ionisation/nuclear is a small circle with a large one around it broken into six parts of alternating colours (usually yellow and black). The triple triangle is a fallout shelter logo, first created in America because Cold War etc etc. I think it's supposed to resemble the nuclear symbol whilst being sufficiently different that people shouldn't mix them up.
17/21, got stumped by a few. I honestly didn't know the sign for kosher
It's not a universal sign for kosher, it's the symbol of the OU, or Orthodox Union, one of the many organizations that offers kosher certification. I wouldn't have included it in this type of quiz.
Load More Replies...I have never seen that even in Jewish stores in very Jewish communities, in USA, but I guessed right.
It's there. You just haven't noticed it. It's on Heinz Ketchup labels, for example.
20/21. I missed the fallout shelter one. I thought it was nuclear waste.
A few of these I never seen before. I got a few of these wrong that I should have got right.
Great, tried to answer two of them when there were no symbols to see!
20/21. Missed the new-clear sign. But 17, here atleast some things have the weight on the barcode, so the scanner will get the weight from the code and therefore can calculate the item price. And that includes taxes 😉
Depends which county you're in. Here the barcode is to identify the product. All items already have tax included so the price you see is the price you pay. For items that need weighing then the barcode is to identify the product which is weighed on the pressure sensor at the till.
Load More Replies...Never in 50 years driving on five continents in cars manufactured in numerous countries have I ever seen a symbol like that for low beam lights. It’s always for fog lights. Obviously BP doesn’t have the foggiest idea and the lights aren’t on 🙄
What fictional continents & countries are you talking about?
Load More Replies...That is the symbol for low beam. Fog light symbols have a wavy line down through the 'beam'.
