Some animals are cute and fluffy, some exciting and dangerous-looking, and some, well... grumpy. Meet Loki, a Sphynx cat who looks like an old man shouting at you to get off his lawn.
Loki lives with his human family - Sara and Brent from Brooklyn, NY. "This adorable cat has more personality and sass than any animal I have ever met," Sara told to a blog Girls And Their Cats. "We are inseparable. We are best friends."
The hairless cat came into the couple's lives a day before Halloween in 2014, after months of searching, as Brent is allergic to cats, so adopting a pet animal for them had more challenges than it usually does. "Loki is incredibly affectionate, cuddly, and chatty. Our silly cat loves napping on our bellies, eating chicken and scrambled eggs, and receiving hearty head scratches."
"Shortly after we adopted this unusual cat, I started an Instagram page solely dedicated to Loki. His Instagram page quickly picked up a following, noticeably for his seemingly grumpy cat demeanor and unique look."
"Loki has helped me return to creative and optimistic parts of myself that were misplaced while I was feeling unmotivated and sad. Animals are incredible healers and I am eternally grateful for Loki's companionship and generous loyalty. This cute cat is truly one of a kind."

That's generally the case with almost every Spynx cat. They are sweet little creatures, but tend to look like grumpy aliens!
Load More Replies...Liberace, eat your heart out. Or maybe I'll do it for you.
Load More Replies..."AND, THIS IS your idea of Me, being a Unicorn? Don't You DARE put that horn on Me...You have been warned! ANNNNNND, remove the Rainbow, Fluffy Cutesy sweater, while You're @ it; You KNOW HOW I DETEST, anything CUTE!!" ( But Seriously, He does look aodrable!!! LOL,LOL )
You may laugh now but henceforth lock your bedroom door and windows and say your prayers.
What the hell is this thing they've put on me? Do they seriously expect me to be seen out in public in this?!
I would have the same expression on my face if my human dressed me up like some has been go go girl!!
This is anger cat. Grumpy cat cannot be beat. Grumpy cat is as grumpy as she is adorable.
The CEO isn't pleased about this quarter's losses. Catnip has hit a new low.
When you go to the store and find something you think looks cute, but when you put it on you're like:
"Why, yes Kurt it was I who left a dead mouse in your shoe, it was I who pee'd in your coffee, it was I who shat on your pillow, and it is I who will drive you insane. Why you ask? Alice is my woman Kurt and you should have known that from the start. Now, see yourself out before the dogs I hired show up to hump your leg and chew it off."
You just had to add the fake Halloween hand, didn't you. Now I look like a Bond villain. How--plebeian.
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of.....well c**p this isn't gonna work!
Do not ever let this thing get wet , or feed it after midnight, oh wait you already did.
This looks like a photo taken in a French chateau 50 years ago with the lighting and the minimalist decor. Very cool.
"So help me Kurt, if you throw one more sock at me and yell 'you're free' I am going to claw you where the sun don't shine."
I feel sorry for sphinx cats, it is a breed developed by humans to be hairless, this is unnatural for a cat. They suffer terribly from the cold and can get sunburn and skin cancers. I know this couple have an issue with cat allergies, but it is the cats that suffer.
I completely agree. This one poor guy doesn't even have whiskers! I would look pissed as f**k too, in his case. If the couple adopted him as in "not bought from a breeder", I'm slightly mollified since every pet deserves a good home, no matter what happened to them or how they look. But I really don't think it's a good thing that we get shown all those pictures of misshapen cats (like Loki but also those poor snub-nosed cats or the ones with wrinkly ears and short legs!) and dogs (pugs!), because it creates the desire to own such an animal in people who wouldn't want them otherwise. If someone wants a naked pet, how about a mole-rat? Or fish. But every animal has specific needs, and fur is part of that. Ugh. Poor Loki.
Load More Replies...This will get lots of downvotes (I am just stating my opinion) (PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG) but this is what happens with the amount of breeding animals go through and often cruel breeding like animal in a cage and breed them and breed them again cruel! When I see this kind of thing it makes me very angry however like I said at the start I WOULD LOVE TO BE CORRECTED!

i remain loyal to tartar sauce (grumpy cat) but loki is cute! the only problem is that his eyes are so big, that you can see every feeling in them, and in most of these, he is a very happy kitty!
This cat looks uncomfortable, not grumpy. Come in bored oanda, why promote irresponsible breeding of cats? Nature gave cats fur, humans denuded them.
I had no idea this breed was just so people could have pets that were allergic, I just thought it was a breed people that were allergic got to have, and usually at a very high cost. To make animals go through this just so people can have them, seems the complete opposite of what loving animals is about. I am not trying to judge but it is really really hard not to in this case.
I know, bring on the downvotes, but can't we shut up and enjoy something for once? He probably lives a very happy life at his loving home. At least he isn't out on the streets.
That poor kitty doesn't look grumpy, he looks miserable. Also Tard is actually a super sweet kitty. source: See my profile pic.
I love the name of your Cat! I'm a huge MARVEL Fan and I love Norse Mythology.
Honestly he would scare the hell out of me if I happened upon him in a chair! Not my cup of tea but they love him so good for him!
Loki is adorable! He can't help that he has resting b**ch face! :D My Sphynx cats have all had a V-shape where their lips met under their noses. This guy has a U-shaped lip. No wonder he looks so odd!
I'm so happy this sweet little gargoyle found a furever (or skin-ever) home with people that love him
Besides thee loss of whiskers, the inability for temperature adaptation and the enormous amount of skin it has to wear ridiculous costumes..
And humans are meant to have compassion, but here you are.
