SO TRAGIC,Greyhounds second to Beagles and Pitbulls are the most abused breed of dog in the world.Firstly for racing and second for hunting.

I adore my gentle rescued greyhound, it took quite a long time to gain her trust but it was well worth it. Thankfully there are some excellent Shelters in Spain helping these abused dogs, but it is not easy. Many years ago when I worked in a Shelter, it was a huge worry when a Galgo came because the gitanos and hunters would come at night and steal them. Thanks to Anne Finch (She started Greyhounds in Need, UK) she helped many of our dogs find wonderful homes.

All i can say is:I hope the previous owners of these abused hounds rot in hell...A******S ALL!
