"I came across this scene while hiking through the Arenal National Park in Costa Rica. The rainforest is full of diverse life and many surprises. Typically, the Red-Eyed tree frogs are sleeping during the day and very active at night. However, this little cutie was very much awake, energetic, and playful in the late afternoon when I came across this unexpected scene. I’ve never seen a Red-Eyed tree frog before, so for me, it was an amazing experience. For a moment, we were both curious about exploring each other existence and it was comfortable enough to peek through the leaves for a closer look. Moments like these enhance and expand our curiosity to explore the natural wonder that surrounds us."

"I was on a road trip through the Italian Dolomites. On that morning, I woke up before sunrise to get to the location I had planned. While driving, I was looking through the side window and suddenly saw this beautiful, soft, warm light coming from behind the mountains. I stopped immediately and got out of the car with my camera. I took a few steps and found the perfect spot: the woods surrounding three small houses, some sheeps grazing the grass, and that beautiful light that made every other color look brighter. This photo is proof that you should always enjoy the journey and not simply think of your destination. If I hadn't paid attention to my surroundings while on the road I would have missed this beautiful moment. This is the kind of view I wish I could wake up to every morning. It made me feel at peace with the world, and hopefully, others will feel the same looking at this photo."

"One of the most incredible phenomena you can see on the planet: the northern lights. It was a really cold night with -32 Celsius degrees! Trust me: at that temperature also the blood starts to freeze! I wanted to capture the sinuous movement of the green light beams and their reflection on the not-yet-frozen lake. It's difficult to describe the emotions when observing this amazing show: you can feel the same fear, the same impotence, the same emotion that our ancestors certainly felt, although the physics behind them were not yet known. You can fully understand all the legends that were written many years ago about this wonderful phenomenon. I love this photo because every time I look at it, I can go back to that precise moment when amazement has taken over everything else."

"I can't get enough of nature. These terraces were obviously built by man, but because they are so green, it still feels like nature. Nature is something different, it gives people peace of mind and almost everyone likes to be surrounded by it. These terraces are normally packed with tourists. If you go there on bright daylight, you won't find a spot to photograph without anyone in the background. However, if you go there for the sunrise you will be pleased with what you see. Fun fact: I've been there a couple of times and if you go early, you wake the street dogs up that are living in the area and they will join you the whole walking route! Take some healthy dog treats with you and you will meet new best friends."

"We stumbled upon this family as we were looking for a nearby temple. We were riding our scooters through these little villages. As we stopped to ask our way, the father of the family grabbed his scooter to show us around and asked us to come to get some food at his place later. Such generous and hospitable people; they had so little but still shared it all. As I travel a lot, I meet lots of people. Usually, I give adults some money for a portrait. However, with kids, I like to give them balloons. It gives them joy and also doesn’t teach them bad habits. For me seeing, those kids playing with so much joy from something that is so insignificant gives me a good feeling."
