Recently a good friend and my agent Alex visited Europe. One of the photos taken in Baden Baden featured this real gem only familiar to the locals. I couldn’t wait to get started on it and here is the finished piece.

I am a professional artist specializing in graphics and ballpoint pen art. I worked in just about every medium you can think of, but I was always drawn to my childhood hobby of drawing with a basic ballpoint pen. In order to create a wonderful piece of art, one doesn’t need a very extensive workshop or spend a lot of money on the art supplies. With a basic ballpoint pen and a sheet of paper you can create a masterpiece.

You must get through plenty of ballpoint pens. Do you have a favourite or do different 'biros' give different effects?
